Open endings can make a work stick with the viewer longer than a clear cut ending would. If you liked the short, the lack of a clear ending leads to your mind mulling it over, thinking about possibilities, how it might have ended. But since there’s no definite answer, your mind never really lets go of it entirely. You

You’re making the mistake of thinking all Archie comics are the same. They still publish the ones like you’re thinking about, and they’re just like you’re thinking they are. But they have really branched out with all kinds of stories, some set in alternate universes, alternate futures, etc. The 2010 revival of Life

I was surprised that K2S0's death bothered me more than most of the others. I think I just kinda expected all the humans would end up dying, but not the droid. Also, he kinda grew on me over the course of the movie, and his deliberately sacrficing himself was unexpected given his cantankerous personality.

I’d take that kind of thing over the asshole who kept using his phone during the movie at my showing. I think he ended up kicked out as he vanished about the halfway point, but it ruined about half the movie for me. I considered going to report him myself, but I had been looking forward to the movie so much I wasn’t

I’m from Tennessee, and it’s safe to say he burned more than some bridges. He damn near burned them all. Fans still hate him, and all signs are the feeling is mutual in UT’s admin.

I just gotta point out, since you’ve been acting so superior the whole thread, that the image you used has spoilers in it. (Yondu wasn’t part of the Guardians in the first movie. His joining them in Vol. 2 is a spoiler. Also, Groot is small.) So apparently this whole idea of yours is kinda hard to do in practice.

Well you started that when you pre-emptively dismissed literally everyone’s opinion but your own with your “get some patience” remark. So, uhh, I guess you have no footing in this argument and you know it? Right?

The fact that you think your way of enjoying movies is the only way speaks volumes about you as a person. Sorry, the real world doesn’t revolve around you, and a very, very large number of people enjoy watching trailers and dissecting them and theorizing about what they reveal. Welcome to reality.

Enterprise seasons 1 & 2 weren’t all that great, and were largely boring. Season 3 and especially 4 really picked up and got good. But the first two seasons had done the damage and most people weren’t willing to give the show another try.

Looks like it might be legal if they don’t record audio, but I’m pretty sure they’ll be stupid enough to record audio.

I’m hoping that someone will call the cops and they get busted for the marijuana, especially since they’ll have large quantities and be distributing it, making them drug dealers. Some seriously harsh penalties for that.

I’m really sorry to hear that happened to you, that’s just horrible. But rest assured Vanderburg and his pals lives’ are ruined. Once they get out they will all have to be on sex offender registries, most likely for life. (This can vary depending on state, so it’s hard to say for sure if they move to different states.

I’m okay with them forgiving the loans, but I think the Department of Education should be able to go after the company, and its directors, to recoup as much of that loss as possible. Unfortunately I don’t know if this type of fraud would be enough for courts to allow piercing the corporate veil to go after the

Rather late reply, but I saw he has plans for them available on his website:

Bill the Cat approves too, or at least I think he does, he’s sort of passed out and making ack noises at the moment...

I spent some time volunteering at a nursing home in my youth, and I can tell you a lot of the elderly people in those don’t care. There’s so many of them whose family never comes to see them, that they’ll take even people pretending to want to see them. It beats being lonely all the time. It’s amazing how happy they

Well at least they got the mushroom cloud on there. Quite appropriate since it bombed (at least critically).

You should check out the webcomic Blindsprings. It’s not set in the Harry Potter universe, but you have the Academics who have taken over magic by making it a science, while condemning (and dehumanizing) the Orphics who do magic naturally. It’s quite fascinating.

Being disabled, this actually has me considering trying Pokemon Go now. I can walk, but not enough to matter for egg hatching. (I can usually manage doing my shopping, but sometimes walking hurts me so bad I have to use a scooter, or worse, get someone to get my groceries for me.) Going to watch for a bit and see if

They didn’t explain it, but it seemed pretty clear to me the alien ship’s gravity went away shortly before it landed. It pulled up the cities it passed over, then once the ship was closer to its landing point, the gravity went away. That’s why the buildings, cars, ships, people dropped back down in London.
