hmmm ok I followed up to see the 9/11 comment and that is a REAL stretch to claim she called for that, to the point where I think it’s mean to imply it. She shouldn’t have her name associated with “pro 9/11" just because she was snippy about a Pitchfork review

Bernie has never lit a fire for me, I have to say. I find it interesting how powerful people’s perspective proves to be - Bernie lovers are convinced he’s for the people, while other camps are convinced he’s an egomaniac. Yet both groups point to his actions/words/etc as proof.

yes but I WAS FIRST for the record :)

Incredible.

for the record, SHE copied ME!!

uuuugh I feel this, having just gone through it after getting laid off.

fun fact: I named my cat Olivia Benson and when people ask what her name is, their response is always, “Your cat has two names?!”

are these two really that comparable though? By all accounts Cosby was an unrelenting predator who kept preying on dozens of women for decades until old age held him up. I guess time will likely tell whether Kobe legitimately kept his nose clean until his death, but so far it seems so.

but was anyone asking him to defend himself...? It may have been unsavory but if she was legally of age, I really doubt there was much of anything said about their relationship? It seems a bit of a leap to suggest that he married her just in case people complained about her age, which wasn’t that much dramatically

it sucks that he has a complicated legacy. And by “it sucks,” I mean, it sucks that when you have a complicated legacy, it’s your family/loved ones who have to parse through it and be reminded of it after your death... you’re not the one that has to deal with it anymore.

$4 an hour for live in?? I hope they include a slap in the face with that

I’m so curious about the pay for this (didn’t see it anywhere) because that is absurdly specific.

I guess I feel like this is... fairly fair? Having to spend several years behind bars is a good warning to other people doing this sort of stuff. I do think what she did was super messed up, but I also think it’s possible she could be rehabilitated and it wasn’t necessarily her personality for life. Maybe I’m being

What came up in that one case mentioned above (where he took photos, unless there’s multiple guys) is also that, while breath play IS dangerous and honestly, don’t, one thing people widely don’t understand is that it takes more than a few seconds to strangle people (usually).

I was wondering how she would go to the Detroit police while she was in Atlanta cause that’s quite a distance, but you mis-reported the direction of her journey -or rather it should say “to detroit” instead of “from” which is confusing :p

yes, I was alive and watched the Real World - there’s a reason I specifically noted “not single handedly” in what I wrote above. But I would argue, as I’ve already argued, that her show was more influential in terms of setting off a wave of reality shows like it. The Real World existed but it was never constantly in

This house is pretty well known for being very conceptual/ strange and most of their money comes from perfumes and stuff, not selling clothes. Which I don’t think is totally bad... it’s art and it doesn’t really pretend to be for everyone

I  mean, she’s not totally wrong. She did essentially help create reality TV (not single handedly, but it was a FORCE). And I think you can tell from any interview she does that her persona was, indeed, an act meant to entertain.

oh...you think that what makes actors rise to the top and get jobs is simply based on their acting ability, rather than a combination of how successful their shows were REGARDLESS of how “good” they were/who they know/what they look like/how loyal their fanbase is? Bless your heart...

I love this show SO much
