I assume you’ve seen the live action movie trailer with Aubrey Plaza. It’s pitch perfect and I’m angry it’s not a real movie.

Hm, I had only been thinking of his novels.
Eleanor Shellstrop would agree to that!
It’s true... they’re devolving.
RIP to one of the best cold opens I’ve ever seen. B99 had an abundance of them and just really great episodes, one-liners, gags, character arcs, etc. Gonna miss the hell of out this show. The Mick and LMOE too.
And you know what’s taking their place? Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing. Fuck me dead.
I loved The Mick a lot. (The drug trip through the high school episode was sublime.) But I was preparing myself to say goodbye to Mickey and the gang.
I’m real fuckin’ upset about Brooklyn Nine-Nine. It doesn’t make a lick of sense to me. Fine, maybe it didn’t get the live ratings it deserved, but it’s the era of…
I forgot to link: http://lby3.com/wir/ (Gail Simone’s “Women in Refrigerators” site)
On this week’s episode of “Legtion”, Amy Haller bec0mes the most recently inducted member of the Women in Refrigerators Club.
Fuck that, you did it right. Mine were played with until every accessory was lost (or at least mis-paired with another figure), paint was worn down, X Wings wouldn’t stay open, tie fighter wings collapsed when you set it down, etc. They weren’t made to stay behind plastic.
Also that was an Ozzy joint, not Sabbath!
That’s filed under “cackling, demented”.
You forgot Black Sabbath’s “Crazy Train”.
This is one of the best numbers in the whole thing. It’s disturbing, but it’s supposed to be. We’re supposed to be rooting for John Adams (even though he’s “obnoxious and disliked”), and this is a good “get off your high horse” number.
Sometimes, musicals are more accurate than history. Not saying it’s right, just saying that there was enough blame to go around back then
I agree. I’m still drained, a day later. I never got to see “The Empire Strikes Back” in its original theatrical run. I wondered aloud to the beautiful young woman who sat next to me if this was how that audience felt. I’d give almost anything to know for sure, but it has to be close.
I can’t speak for the rest of you, but I’m happy for this cast and these basic character dynamics to play out in whatever genre piece Adam Reed is currently into from now until the heat death of the universe.
This is exactly what I was looking for. What he put HER through. I don’t know Allison, never watched her show so I’m speaking in generalities here but isn’t it pretty typical for cult masterminds to brainwash/abuse their recruiters who almost always tend to be women? They’ll even give these women a fancy second in…
The Richard Gere, 68, “wanting to start a family,” if true, makes me mad-sad.
Shit, I left off Fury Road. Four?! This is impossible.
