In upstate NY, Cellino & Barnes wins the title of most annoying. Every commercial break. The shitty jingle combined with the 5 seconds video still of their way too white fake smiles makes me want to be in a car accident, with them in the other car.

I think it’s a location thing. In NYC I’m not sure I’ve EVER seen the commercials, but when I travel to upstate NY one seems to air at least every other commercial break.
This show continually knocks me off my feet. Michael Schur is a genius. And that Chidi + Eleanor kiss?! Hot Diggity Dog!
Becker is the Devil! I KNEW it!
People will vent their frustrations if they feel like they have a safe space to do so. You see it here on jez with the metoo articles. Do you think everyone on jez hates men? A lot of users on here are married or in a relationship.
Bob Newhart waking up confused in bed.
Easy.
Bruce Campbell as Magnum.
There are two kinds of people in this world:
One idea I had is that they’ll get to The Good Place, where the “Good” version of Michael will tell them it’s all been a test, and they’ve passed, etc... and just when it looks like a really contrived ending, you’ll get a background shot of all the angels (or whatever) sharing a “I don’t know what just happened,…
It’s a two-headed judge played by Offerman and Sam Elliot.
Chidi speaks English. It’s not his first language, so it’s not how he hears HIMSELF speak in the Good Place, but he lived and taught in Australia for a long time.
I initially predicted that Nick Offerman would play Shawn. That said, after reading the Mary Steenburgen suggestion, I’m now fully in support of a Mary-Ted Danson showdown season finale.
Or maybe all five of them are in limbo? Maybe Michael was actually a human, but just an especially bad one, so they’ve had him in a longer simulation to try and improve and grow. After all, it seems a little shifty that it’s so easy to fool Shawn and that earlier on Michael was apparently able to just walk into the…
I keep wondering if this entire show isn’t just Eleanor in limbo, working through everything in her life and her self in order to get to heaven, and Michael has been an unreliable narrator this whole time - he’s actually the Archangel playing a multitude of roles, all intended to spur fundamental, lasting change in…
I got a little choked up there at the end, but I’m excited to see where the show is going (as always).
There are three shows that, for me, are on par.
Review, Better off Ted , and the first seasons of Modern Family were brilliant. I would like Veep more if it didn’t become reality.
I loved The Grinder. Nathan for You is brilliant. That Andy Daily show I didn’t watch, but seems quite beloved by some. The first couple seasons of Modern Family were genuinely hilarious (as easy as that is to forget, watching it now).
This show is goddamn unbelievable. Thoroughly cemented itself as my favorite comedy show of the decade, absolutely no competition.
