Ooh, I am so excited for you! Another tip: the first season can take a bit of getting-used-to. She can be abrasive, crude, unlikable, and a very unreliable narrator. Hang in there, though -- SO worth it.

Man, Fleabag bowled me over. I am in love with Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Such a fresh, heart-wrenching show. I wish I could watch it again for the first time.

I finally saw a screening of the original stage performance the other night. The TV show had a lot of moments that made me teary-eyed, but god, I was not expecting how much the original play would make me BAWL. It’s devastating. She’s such a phenomenal writer.

100% this. It is poetic at times, and honestly a relief...seeing MY thoughts and feelings somehow expressed by someone else in such an articulate way...it is both comforting and horrifying. Comforting to know I’m not alone. Horrifying to know I’m not alone.
