I agree, I really would like to hear how it went.

I think you were brilliant and applaud you. I periodically have one or two outfits on rotation that I always wear. Currently they are: 1. A royal blue cotton dress that has a zip pocket on the hip. It is so flattering and easy to wear, has been on heavy summer rotation for 3 years and to my horror, I discovered a tear

My partner is like that...He always is thinking that there may be a use for X thing. Ever optimistic...

Ooo...Can I pick your brain? I want to hire a cleaner, any questions I should ask? Anything in particular I should look for? Have never done something like this. I have someone coming over tonight for an estimate...

I agree with this so much. My job is fairly political in that I have meet with city, county, state, and national elected officials on a regular basis. And honestly it is the state level that seems to make the biggest difference in daily life. Plus, getting elected at a state or local level is a great training ground

Yeah the thinnest I was as an adult was when I was struggling with crippling depression that made me lose interest in eating. I got so much accolades for how I looked at that time. I weigh more and am much happier now. I am so careful about mentioning how other people look, I don’t always know what is going on with

I agree, especially with your last paragraph. I am baffled by how people fixate on these weird extreme diets when simple things like adding fruits and vegetables and limiting highly processed foods can make a big difference and is a much more sustainable plan.

Agreed. I have so much respect and admiration for her.

Maybe I have bad taste in movies but I never got him. The main thing that he has going for him as far as I can tell is extreme violence, which I don’t like.

I am ashamed to say I bought tickets for this movie for Sunday. At a horrible corporate theater that recently did an underhand takeover of a beloved local theater. It is a good friend’s birthday, and that is what she wanted to do and I missed her birthday the last 3 years so I wanted to go with but ugh. I hate giving

Because he is America. L’etat c’est moi.

I can’t express how strongly I agree with you. Her take on mental health is dangerous.

As the working mother of a son who just turned 8, this made me get misty eyed. I can only imagine how proud she was to win with her kid watching, to bring him along. I can only imagine how incredibly proud of her he is!

Nothing pissed my grandpa’s wife off more than burned marshmallows.

God it is such a nightmare finding a therapist in my town who accepts my insurance and is accepting new clients. You raise a valid point.

Is it though? My husband and I occasionally go to couples counseling with the same therapist who sees his daughter. We discussed, and she made it super clear that she will not talk about anything the daughter says with us, nor will she talk about anything we say with the daughter. She did say that if one of us wanted

Well my mom ended up committing suicide so maybe the modern treatments would have been a better option for her.

My husband always buys Costco cargo shorts for himself and my son. And they seem pretty OK. But the sweatpants and sweatshirt he bought be from Costco got serious pills and looked worn and crappy after the first time I washed them which bummed me out.

Dang...You are making me want to plan a Costco run in the near future!

Do they? I work in a male dominated industry and I find “miss” upsetting. It feels patronizing to me, usually used by much older men in a way that emphasizes my presumed inexperience and outsider status in the industry. Mrs comes across as...Emphasizing marital status in an odd way to me. I’ve discussed this at length
