Interesting, it was kind of the opposite in my family. My younger sister would not talk to my mom about sex at all. Kept telling mom that I'd already had the talk with her. So eventually I did. Of course I basically raised my sister who is only 3 years younger than I so maybe it makes sense that she trusted me more.

maybe just keep your tampons and pads out in the open, and buy them at the grocery store in front of her to start normalizing? My mom bought a kit with pads, tampons and stuff that I loved looking at when I was 10 or so. Somehow seemed so exciting and adult.
