Tarantino is a huge fan of Morricone, and had been trying to get him to score his films since Kill Bill I believe. Until Hateful Eight, the timing never worked out. But Tarantino used tracks from Morricone’s earlier scores in Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, and especially Django Unchained, whose soundtrack was about

Music can make or break a movie. And nothing says “Superman” as the character Superman is supposed to be like the John Williams score.

I was watching The Hateful Eight, and thought I heard a few bars that reminded me of The Untouchables. Off to IMDB, and sure enough: they were both scored by Ennio Morricone. So naturally I had to stay up late and watch both films.

Also I mean colour me entirely NOT shocked that Drumpf kept copies of Hitler’s speeches but surely that’s worth more than a line in Dirt Bag? White supremacy guys. In 2017. And it’s not even shocking that it’s gaining momentum anymore, just a year into his dictatorship.

I have one particular conservative friend that repeats all the patriarchal misogynist crap some of her male family members have drilled into her. I haven’t given up on her and I won’t go into the complexities of the friendship here, her politics are just one side of her.

Well you know, we really don’t need another 500 days of Katamari Damacy or whatever the woman’s name is.

Splinter need to mix it up. There’s no shenanigans or questionable behavoir or articles just cause it’s time to let a dog have an article.

Fuck this guy for taking Gawker from us. I miss the sharp, witty snark.

If you look closely at the clip, Megyn is whispering something in Bobby’s ear when she hugs him. I slowed the footage down and read her lips. She said “fucking stop the fucking column or I’ll fucking kill your immediate family.”

I found this bone-chilling. Like finding out Voldemort knows your address.

“Think of the children!” defense usually pops up with these assholes. Then they go vote for Moore.

Boy, those Trumpanzees sure are fragile little snowflakes, aren’t they?

The white people, both liberals and conservatives, that rush to defend Nazis and the KKK on behalf of free speech haven’t been as vocal about this. Hmm.

Man Living in Gaudiest Glass House Throws Stones, Misses

I didn’t hate it, but I much prefer the elegant simplicity of the first film.

Trump also raped Ivana (because he was pissy that he got shitty hair plugs iirc), and has been accused of rape by others, including a 13 year old girl.

I am really tired of the “he wasn’t ACTUALLY touching her in the photo” defense.

It seems clear from her story that she wanted to avoid the kiss, and that he pushed her beyond what is normally expected and what she indicated she was comfortable with. I’m not an actor but I’m pretty sure tongue isn’t standard in onstage kisses. Also, it’s pretty common for dudes to write hot women into their scenes

Franken: scripts a kiss, rehearses the kiss, scene partner objects to extent of kiss
