Holy shit, I never expected to find another person who knows Worcester. Galleria was basically a microcosm of this city.

Just a little bit west, I was thinking of the Eastfield Mall in Springfield. I used to work there and it was dead even back then.

I watched some of the clips last night but had to stop. Two weeks ago I was mugged in the mailroom of my apartment by 3 people and was physically assaulted and it was eye opening how people choose to react and absorb what happened to me in their own way. I feel bad for kim and people shitting on her for having it on

“I just prayed that Kourtney’s going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed.”

ding ding ding! you win! first comment to shit on her!

she says she was “fully mentally prepped” to be raped by the men, and adds, “I just prayed that Kourtney’s going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed.”

Absolutely. It’s anyone’s nightmare. I know people don’t like the Kardashians, but I would never wish what Kim went through on anyone. And who cares if she talks about it on her show? She’s entitled to process her feelings however she wants, even if they help her day job in the process.

I had to stop watching after Kim said she was worried the entire time that Kourtney would find her body (I think they were sharing a room) and never be able to recover from it. This entire situation was pretty much my number one nightmare realized. It stressed me out so much just listening to her talk about it.

Wait, what happened to my Pets.com stock.

That’s just a ripoff of an old Kal cartoon anyhow (a reasonably famous one as political cartoons go)

Autism Speaks doesn’t use a puzzle ribbon, they use a puzzle (which is offensive to Autistic people), but yes they do also use the color blue in their logos and in their ‘Light It Up Blue’ campaign because of the myth that boys are overwhelmingly more likely to be diagnosed as Autistic than girls.

So yes, it’s one of

I’m glad they made her a girl. It took me until I was 17 to get diagnosed with Aspergers and I’m pretty sure my being a girl had a large part in that. Not just because of prejudice, but because girls on the spectrum can often present different symptoms than boys. For instance my mother was told that it wasn’t possible

I worked for Uber HQ for a short time (before I said eff that and bailed). On my second day, I was in a meeting with Kalanick, in which one of the female VPs said she was concerned that women would feel unsafe using UberPool, particularly in crime-ridden areas or countries with poor women’s rights records. Kalanick’s

The second and third paragraphs of the article sum up the crux of the argument and rely on verifiable fact. The article is too long and goes too wide, sure, but those two paragraphs are key.

Perhaps you think there’s nothing wrong with the contractor structure, and how nice for you if that’s the case. But the finance

They are not making enough money for those deductions to matter.

“Driving with uber seems incredibly profitable if you do it in your part time like it’s designed.”

Actually, it only seems incredibly profitable for the drivers if you don’t take into account the added costs for gasoline, repair, and depreciation.

My (former) taxi company is a 70 year old, driver owned co-op. Are you employing that our business model wasn’t inherently more fair to our drivers?

the only benefit that uber provides is the increased likelihood that a ride will be available when i’m far from any semblance of civilization, and drunk.
