Not to mention her saying this: “McSweeney texts again on December 29, “U hate me cus I’m white. Our conversations r everything to me btw. We have a lot of friends in common and if anyone of them saw this I would b so ashamed.”

This article is a little deceptive because you start midway through the text exchange, where he seems like he’s being cold and she seems like he’s being chatty. Start at the actual beginning, where she opens by text bombing him a bunch about how every dude on the app “looks gay”:

But...they can’t all three get married right? Not legally anyway.

Do you remember when TLC, History, and the Discovery channel were full of educational programming?

Pepperidge Farm Remembers.

The president, the intelligence community and FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS are investigating whether our future president is colluding with a foreign government to undermine our democracy. Specifically a government that has a well documented record of this type of behavior. That in itself is a huge story.

When a powerful U.S. Senator is delivering copies of Pizzagate conspiracy theory manifestos to the director of the FBI, this equivalence will become valid.

There really has been very little information released about this case, beyond what the initial detective told reporters. There are many questions that haven’t been answered. I’ve seen online comments from people claiming to be her former coworkers at Amazon, saying she and her boyfriend were both kinda weird, and

Here’s what I think—not trying to “correct” you but just to draw out the conversation.

I believe that prison should be a punishment

the average sentence for the crime is significantly lower than the punishment she received. no one here is arguing that she should be pardoned because she is trans. people are just saying the punishment should fit the crime. and acknowledging her treatment in the military prison is essentially psychological torture

Just going to point out that commutation of ones sentence does not absolve one of the crime. It does not remove the verdict. It does not remove the felony. Its simply a ‘and we’re now letting you go’ for whatever reason.

CPCs are a disgrace. How they can get away with advertising health services when they are staffed by a bunch of church ladies with no qualifications, or with actually providing health services without a license, or with distributing false information while receiving government funds, is completely beyond me.

And now that poor infant is stuck living its life with all that damage. It shouldn’t have been born. Everybody loses.

This so much. I don’t how people that are adamantly against a woman’s right to choose don’t realise that it doesn’t suddenly eliminate the need or choice to terminate a pregnancy for some people. desperate people resort to desperate measures - I mean I doubt that this woman woke up one morning and decided to shove a

Because Roe v. Wade allows states to make laws restricting abortion after a certain point, including making it criminal. Roe v. Wade wouldn’t allow a state to restrict abortion at a really early stage, but at 24 weeks, the state can do this. It sucks, but it is the current law.

This is what happens when the government funds anti-abortion facilities that blatantly disguise themselves as health centers. There are more of these “Crisis Pregnancy Centers” in the U.S. than abortion providers, and states in the Midwest and South are saturated with them. (Check out this mini documentary from Vice

As access to abortion becomes more restricted and people continue to believe sex education encourages sex, more botched at home abortions will happen. Men and women against abortion will insist these laws save lives, will pay no attention to ho many it ruins and continue to believe anyone who dies attempting abortion

What about this is hard to understand?
