It seems as though the Safe Campus Act is sort of like the Patriot Act in that the people pushing it really hope that lawmakers will make positive assumptions based on the name without actually reading or understanding it. It’s about stopping schools from punishing rapists, so opposition to it is a good thing!

So Bey went to school with my buddy, and my buddy is my age, and Bey was a junior when my friend was a freshman, so. She’s 37. There. Mystery solved.

You’d be surprised. My ex husband actually GOT INTO AN ARUGMENT with my daughter about her age. Like, he insisted that she was born in 2002. She was born in 2003 and she knows this because, well, she knows how old she is.
