Maybe I'm just biased because I'm in love with him, but I definitely think that my boyfriend is way cuter than any of the boyfriends/husbands of popular girls from school that I stalked on Facebook. Plus they (the girls+their dudes) dress like douchebags.

Word. So many of them have 5-7 year olds, are divorced, shilling HerbalLife/shitty real estate and posting way too many selfies taken in their bathroom mirrors. My life isn't great all the time but, as a decidedly NOT cool girl in high school it does make me go:

You can still search for your old classmates (classhates?) and make wild assumptions about their lives based on whatever information they've left public. Some people will even be kind enough to leave their profile completely public so you can peruse the trainwreck that is their life at your leisure.

Lucky you, most of the popular assholes from my class turned into successful assholes. I can only hope they're suffering silently in the form of say, genital herpes or butt warts.

I will admit to only joining Facebook so that I could see what had happened to certain popular people from my high school whom I had loathed. And lo, I was not disappointed.

Umm, nothing about that says that was the sum total of the conversation.

Piss off troll...

9/10 times you are right, but that doesn't seem to be the case this time. She had a psychotic episode, the players called 911 and got her treatment, and then were cleared after an investigation.

Did you just skip the whole article? Stop it please. Go troll on Jez about the Indian women being raped & hung.

And the evidence of that is where?

This year he passed a bill to outlaw flash mobs! The fun never starts with this guy!

I'm still upset that she claims to be a size 4. Making girls who like to eat feel bad about themselves. Girl, you're at least a 10 or 12. Own it.

late to the party, I know, but Pro Tip:

I want to drive an ice pick through his head.

The problem is, a lot of guys think rape means only "guy jumps out of bushes and attacks and rapes female he never met." They don't believe (or realize) that having sex with someone who is too drunk to consent is still rape, or pressuring to the point of intimidating your date to have sex is also rape. I would also

he is probably a rapist. sorrynotsorry. but the people who fight this the hardest, in my experience, have some shaaaaady incidents in their pasts.

"and he doesn't know any rapist"

Purely rhetorical question, because of course I know the answer: Wonder if your acquaintance ever gave any thought as to why someone would have feminist leanings in the first place? Is it possible it could be due, at least in part, to the fact that she was victimized and raped, and then vowed never to be a victim

He can't possibly really think this. I mean, come on. It's absolutely insane. You should see how uncomfortable everyone gets if I ever mention my rape—it's hardly like talking about a freaking pool party. You are taught to keep your mouth shut. And, as I've said before, I know lots of women who have been raped.

My head hurts from trying to follow the mental gymnastics he's doing to bolster his nonsensical point and also from banging my head against my desk 17 times just now.
