Yeah, ignoring large mobs of armed thugs and hoping they’ll go away has not worked out well historically.

The Obamas are the classiest couple ever. There’s no way they didn’t reach out to Ms.Bro in some way.

Was excited for some period piece sexiness, then stupid google told me Dehaan is the dude from Chronicle. Nothing wrong with the young man but that dampened my excitement quite a bit.

I am in awe of Ms.Bro. She is living through the absolute worst nightmare of any parent and still she stands by her (and her late daughter’s principals).

I’m not going to make fun of Kourtney Kardashian, even if I’m not sure online law school exists (maybe a pre-law bachelors does?). I mean, good for her, it’s a more worthy goal than the fake lips and ridiculous Pepsi ads the rest of the family peddles. Also, online courses are the only available option for lots of

English second language. As one of the only Anglos around, the kids love to talk pop culture with me, which I adore. Except for the YouTube channel stuff.

Hey, that’s insensitive to the Lizard Men!

My husband’s BFF has rushed home for “a cup of tea and some Judy” every afternoon since 1996. She has a loyal fan base.

IDK Jujy, when my students start talking about their YouTube channel people my eyes glaze over and I pull a Judy.

They’re paying freaking Seacrest north of 10 mill and they’re trying to cheap out on Lionel “I wished you were my father in the 80's” Richie?

I remember learning about Sims in an ethics class. As I recall he also specialized in clitoridectomies (aka female genital mutilation). Fuck that guy.

Mmmm Grape Nuts, plain yogurt and a little maple syrup. Do they still sell Grape Nuts?

I lived in the States for 6 months when I was a child in the late 80's and my little glass pots of yogurt with preserves that my French parents packed as snacks were still considered “weird”. Other snacks that drew no attention in France or Québec but my American classmates thought were bizarre: rillettes with

Well, you can’t unsee that.

Reminds me of 28 Days Later....

I’ve never heard of active KKK chapters in Canada, but plenty of neo-Nazis and fascists.

Thank you for your extremely respectful response. I wrote First Amendment by error, but appreciate your clear explanation. A refreshing change from the crush of “uhh, you’re wrong and dumb posts”. And just to add, hate speech is not allowed in a great many countries, we sometimes forget that it’s ok in America.

Also wanted to add I wrote First Amendment in a bit of a morning fog. I’m Canadian and was referring to section 1 of the Charter.

English second language, so I can work it in as long as we’re discussing in the language of instruction.

I shouldn’t have said First Amendment, was stuck in my head due to recent events. I meant the First Section of the Canadian Charter.
