Would LOVE to see the video of the drunk swimmers fighting with security guards at a gas station. Am picturing it like this in my head.

I’m actually kind of impressed that Lochte had the foresight to skip town before everything went south.

Have you been sent from the future to warn us?

George Condo sounds like the most fake name ever.

Let me preface this comment by stating I don't want anyone to lose their jobs, but from a purely selfish standpoint: I WANT SELF-DRIVING UBER TO BECOME A THING. I'm a people person in general, but something about being stuck in a car with a stranger has always skeeved me out. My experiences with Uber have been more

I’m actually sympathizing with douchey Gavin Rossdale. I’d freak out if my kids were around a racist homophobe.

IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED NO SKY, MAN! Semantics.

When I saw it it also gave me pause “wait, could this be feminist?”. A quick search revealed that Rep Marsha Blackburn a.k.a feminism’s arch nemesis also refers to herself as Congressman.

Do you think all of this has done any actual damage to his career? It bothers me that Ghostbusters is now considered a misfire and this dickhead has had countless flops and keeps getting license to do more (see also: Zack Snyder).

I thought she made a typo in her tweet by referring to herself as “Congressman” but apparently it's a new trend amongst Conservative women to refer to themselves as such.

I’m Canadian and trust me, we don’t want him. Does Devil’s Island still exist?

Watching Stranger Things has reminded me how much I miss Winona. She needs to be in more stuff.

I’m not blaming this on the 90's, it was still illegal at that time. I was simply remarking that, in my personal experience at that time, there was a very different attitude towards consent. I'm happy that wasn't the case everywhere.

Came here to say the same thing.

That story is unreal! I have goosebumps.

We were, we just didn't consider it as such at the time.

I agree. In my comment I remarked that this was in no way an excuse.

I agree 100% that it was definitely not ok.

I’m sorry for your experience as well and have no argument for you.

Maybe my experiences were unique, however “getting taken advantage of” (i.e. raped) when passed out drunk was not a big no in the social circles I ran in, in the late 90's. It also happened casually at house parties when I was in high school. I’m not defending it, these are just the experiences I had.
