Happy Birthday!

Mmmm raspberries. Infuse in what, vodka?

I hope it’s not cold comfort, but my husband and I have gotten into some huge fights at other people’s weddings. We have 2 this summer and I wouldn’t mind going alone TBH.

Jezzies, next weekend I’m going for a girl’s weekend at my cabin with my oldest and best friends. This is a big deal because we all have jobs and kids and no time. I’m looking for amazing signature cocktail ideas....what have you got?

Ok, perhaps that was poorly worded. Replace survive with able to breathe on their own.

Not really. I’m pro civil rights. I think execution is inhumane and a violation of civil rights. I am pro-choice because I believe it is within a woman’s civil rights to make choices about her own body. A fetus that can’t survive outside the mother’s womb has not been born, thus does not have civil rights yet.

The mother gets the choice because she is a living human, with rights and it is her body. When the baby is viable outside of the womb, then it becomes a person with rights.

I don’t believe that life begins at conception and I don’t believe that stopping the incubation of a fetus that is not viable on its own to be an execution.

Because I hate bow ties, which thankfully my husband never wears.

I don’t like the tone of your comment and am certainly not your buddy. But an explanation was requested and that I can’t resist.

It’s more the unpaid part that is messed up.

Y’know, if those brigades of forced birthers actually wanted to do something constructive with their time they could protest the death penalty. Which most of them seem to support. Against all logic and reason.

I saw Grease 2 several times and remember absolutely nothing about it, except maybe that Michelle Pfeiffer was in it.

I know all the Americans in the comment section are sick of us Canadians chiming in about maternity leave, but pilots are REQUIRED to take 8 weeks of UNPAID leave before their due date. What the actual fuck?

pound in the face of a man in a bow tie and boat shoes

Grease is also endlessly disturbing upon rewatching.

Off topic but those pics of Woody Allen flanked by KStew and Gossip Girl really made me ill this week.

Was there ever a time when jeans were gone? Why was I not informed?

Also, audiences can figure out when rape has taken place without graphic depictions. In the latest Mad Max it’s pretty obvious that there was non-consensual sex involved without having to see Immortan Joe’s (probably) freaky junk.

Dear Jodie Foster, when you want to talk please say more things like you said above and much, much less about how your deranged asshole buddy Mel Gibson is a swell guy.
