Is it any surprise that a large number of the migrants from El Salvador are women? These laws are a travesty.

The only people I see intensely watching TV on phones in public is children who presumably can’t go 5 minutes without visual stimulation.

Nothing makes me feel like more of a dinosaur than learning that watching full-length TV shows on phones is such a common and popular activity that there are whole networks dedicated to the platform.

Maybe the retailers had some influence.  Most of the other states are ones that start up in August to get the kids into an AC controlled environment.  This way the big retailers can coordinate stocking across the states with a back-to-school sale instead of doing it on random weekends. 

Titus Burgess all the way. Frankly I would watch him do most anything, especially if he’s singing. Sometimes when I need a pickup, I watch him Lemonade and I feel a bit better about the world.

100% agreed. Lizzo, Tituss Burgess, or a drag queen (I’m not really a Drag Race fan so I’m not sure who would be best) are the only real options here. Can McCarthy even sing? And she’s funny in the wrong way - Ursula is dark and campy... I just don’t buy it, as much as I love McCarthy generally.

On a purely strategic level I have to agree that planned parenthood shouldn’t be wasting time trying to distance themselves from the fact that they provide safe, legal abortions.

Sorry, but if they cast Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, then this ship is sunk from my perspective. Ursula should be a Black woman or, failing that, a drag queen.
