“... new services like UberEats (a loathed food delivery service...”

Where did you get this “loathed” tag from? I work for Eats, and literally everyone in my market that I’ve dealt with - about 75 restaraunts and counting, and close to 1000 customers, as well as a dozen drivers - loves Eats. Yes, the pay was better

I have an old SBC email that still works. Where I am, SNET sold to SBC who sold to AT&T who sold to Frontier. All along the way, each company gave me an address at their domain, plus kept the old ones working. Which, of course, now I forward all to Gmail.

It’s very confusing trying to figure out what I’ve used where

No. Seriously. What the *fuck* is wrong with you people?

The kind of people who make fictional stuff that isn’t sunshine and puppies? I mean, amateur horror stuff isn’t exactly new.

Yes it does...use Rotate from the Play Store and enable per app settings.

Not gonna lie: I find the sudden concern with due process hypocritical. No one seemed to give a shit when the discussion is removing 2nd, 4th, 5th, 8th and broadly, 9th amendment rights via the no fly list.

My “friends” called me an asshole for saying that they should wait until at least the next day before the ruin the experience for other people. I said almost exactly this, that my experience is now lessened and I tried to stay away from spoilers.

I’m the asshole for asking for courtesy.

No. CT is doubling, tripling and quadrupling down on bleeding us dry. They are actively driving the wealthy away, and now the middle class flight has begun. Many of the towns are tightening the screws to make up for what the state can no longer provide. Things are getting much worse here than anyone seems to realize

Every time it doesn’t do what you ask, you have a chance to say so in the app. Now, I realize this puts a lot of responsibility on the users to send feedback, but the only way the voice control and recognition is going to get better is if we bleeding-edge users send the feedback. They need to know how real people use

I would love location-aware Echos. Excellent idea. I’m going to send a feedback touting that and I suggest everyone who likes the idea do it to! The Alexa team seems to actually care what we say to them.

This was written by someone who has no idea how to leverage this device.

And did you really criticize the device for the fact that you can’t stop and babble “ums” at it mid-command? That’s a flaw in YOU, not Alexa.

Benchmark bourbon is hands-down the best cheap bourbon you can get. It’s tested (among my peer group, but I did legit blind tests!) as more well-liked than Bulleit. And its way, way cheaper. $19.99 for 1.75L is the average cost in my area.

What would you ask of death?
