@BreakingSunday: He didn't break the law. He violated a private contract and/or a license. Therefore all that can and should be done to him is have a money judgment placed against him and his property and have an injunction telling him that he can never do this again, or else then he could go to jail for contempt of

@thundercraker: Wow, dude. This guy did not commit a crime. He violated Sony's IP rights (whether it was Copyright, Patent, or Trademark). That gives rise to a civil action only. All that can happen is the judge issues a restraining order forbidding the guy from doing this ever again and issuing a money judgment. If

@TheBlackLight0: I'd just like to point out for the record that this hacker did not commit a crime. He breached a contract (i.e., modifying his PS3 without Sony's consent) that has civil penalties (i.e., money damages).

@vato_loco: Then you can count me as being the only person in the world who was not impressed by the demo. It looked like a bunch of hallways with the occassional QTE.

@Recoil: I don't see the DS and Wii U being comparable.

How is looking down to do any of those things on your controller better than doing the same on your TV screen or setting up hot keys on a traditional controller? Either way you have to stop what you're doing. I just don't get what anyone is going to be able to accomplish with the Wii U.

How is having to look down to a map on your controller is better than viewing the same map on your television?

@Superfly_CJ: Exactly. Furthermore, Mordin throughout ME2 talks about how different humans are from other species due to our greater diversity. Most likely that's one of the qualities that the Reapers are looking for.

@Barden: Watch the extended gameplay trailers. You'll see all the stats and leveling-up.

@Herabek: Read the codexes. Everyone has automatic translators. Your alien companions are speaking their native tongue and your translator is converting it to English.

@Anarkiwi: That "hologram" has previously been used to create plasma and cryo blasts and, as the above poster said, a suit of armor. Making a solid blade doesn't seem like that much of a stretch.

So looking forward to this. Third Strike has always been my favorite Street Fighter game. I played it on my Dreamcast a few weeks ago and I'm still blown away by how amazing it looks. There's something about 2D sprites that 3D models can't match in my opinion.

Can the world finally admit motion controls are crap, now?

Everything about this trailer reeks of Squarenix/Final Fantasy with a touch of Metroid Other M. The character designs, the creepy soulless eyes, the hideous dialog, melodramatic music, etc.

And so the Japanese birthrate drops yet again.

The only upgrade I want to hear about is reverting to ca.kotaku.com.

So

@skt.smth: People said the same shit about motion controls and those turned out to be awful.
