@Jandau: Ditto. I pretty much despise every Bethesda game ever, despite loving RPGs.

Wow. Not a single thing I'm interested in, since Deus Ex 3 got delayed. I guess I'll be playing Mass Effect 2 for the sixth and possibly seventh time, until something new comes out.
Try as hard as you like Eidos, but no one cares about Tomb Raider.
@tetracycloide: What I meant by stripped-down was giving your squad commands. In KOTOR, I could set up four (or was it five?) commands in a row for each character at the start of battle and then sit back and watch the results. This only allows you to pick one command at a time. So you're constantly having to stop and…
So, it's basically the same game. Well, I hope the traditional RPG fans enjoy it, but I won't be purchasing this. I always thought DA:O played like a stripped down KOTOR.
@IcoSotc: Considering it was 5am when you wrote this post, you were surprisingly coherent. I honestly couldn't have put it better myself.
@Ashurahori: So, to you, a linear story that can be completed in a matter of 5 or 6 hours that takes place in a non-linear world where you can walk around and do nothing makes the game non-linear. To me, that means wasted time and money that could have been used to refine the story and gameplay. But, according to your…
@TonyTrey: Whoops. Should read, "explain how Shenmue is NOT a linear game."
@Ashurahori: Nice attempt to dodge my inquiry. I repeat; please explain how Shenmue NOT a linear game.
@mintycrys is on an UBER STREAK!: Because Bioware has proven they don't need George "Toy Boy" Lucas or Star Wars with the success of Mass Effect and Dragon Age (granted, I didn't care for DA, but I understand why people would). Better to let LucasArts come crawling back to them, so that Bioware will be in a better…
@Ashurahori: Please explain how Shenmue was not a linear game. From my recollection of both, there was only one way (or in rare occasions two ways) to progress the story. That sounds pretty linear, doesn't it?
@Ashurahori: You see, the irrelevancy is what I hated most about the Shenmue series. When only 10% of the game is relevant, that means lots of wasted space and resources that could've been applied to the core gameplay and story, both of which needed work.
@BrotherOralius: The story and voice-acting are atrocious. Download the demo and screw around in it. See if you get bored quickly before buying the full game.
@checkminus182: Yeah, I'm with you. Rockstar will probably never match San Andreas ever again.
@herogear: ME2 was released in January 2010.
@Jesse in Japan: Well said. In my opinion, RDR was GTA without the "fun" .
I passed up on buying Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom because I though it was going to be totally outclassed by MVC3. So far, I've been completely wrong. The leaked roster continues to be true and every single time it's a massive let down.
@infinitezero: What if she's insanely hot?
@skadoosh: Agreed.
@WhatTheFrag: Bravo.
