I’ll second @chaozbandit on this. CvK is, for lack of a better term, a dork. I’ve met him a couple of times and a friend works for him. He’s passionate and fun, but his main thing is that he’s wholly unafraid to roll up his sleeves and actually engineer. He’s Tony Stark without the fucked up childhood.

Reminds me of the “Majority Rule” episode of The Orville.

Considering that it’s been 14 years since they stopped making these (2005!?!?!), there are still a lot of AWD examples being used by businesses here in Colorado. I think there’s a business opportunity for a small van with AWD that’s not being addressed.*

Nah. This one has a shared bathroom.

those apartments look like shit...how you affording an F40 but you living in what looks like, one social step above a crack den?

To everyone complaining about the price of the tires, here’s some things.

I fixed it for you.

So, the track record, set by one of the winningest drivers in history, was 14 seconds faster than that of a rookie’s practice lap with nothing on the line?

The anise toothpaste is the BEST.

The anise toothpaste is the BEST.

I have had multiples of these things and am a bit of a self styled expert. Given current pricing on these, $4500 isn’t a bad ask for this. That said, it’s a project car, not a driver. And I can’t think of any reason to have a 2bbl Holey on there. The factory carb is a Motorcraft (Ford) 2150 and, honestly, they’re not

I will say that I had a top trim level 2500HD with Duramax back in 2004. I bought it to carry a slide in camper for backroad expedition style travel, but my child’s medical problems meant that it wound up being a parking lot queen. In the 3 years I owned it, I took it off road exactly once and never towed or hauled

I have a friend that’s now had two Giulias now. The first one was a nightmare and the dealer swapped him a 2nd edition at about this mileage. That second one was also a nightmare and he finally got FCA to buy it back as a lemon in December.

It’s ribbed for pleasure.

The SA80 launched in the 80s, but yes. That said, it’s still a less complex and more easily broken down weapon that’s probably generally functionally inferior to the MP5. I’d say that the Russians and Chinese have taken the cheap, easy to fix, crappy weapon paradigm to its logical conclusion.

This is the fundamental conundrum of British designs (and part of why the British car biz failed to live into ththe modern era).

I think the big issue is, at least for anything important, to never have one copy of anything. For instance, my important photos are stored locally, on Dropbox, on Amazon Drive, and iCloud. If a series of events knocked out all of those backups, losing my photos would be the least of my problems.

I will say that it’s not worthwhile in most of the south and probably not worthwhile in the MidWest and NE if you buy and use good winter tires.

I think this might help with this challenge.

I suggest a classic exotic.

Let’s be clear. This isn’t a truck so much as it’s the more modern manifestation of a classic sedan, masquerading as a truck as an effort to be more butch.
