I remember sitting in one at Kensington Motors in Long Beach, California back when they were new (Kensington were also the local Lotus dealer and my dad had an Esprit). I’ll never forget the conflicting emotions of knowing how much I wanted to own and drive that beast and also knowing that I’d never actually be able

Literally my point.

I have to say that, as cars become more and more autonomous, I think the idea of Japanese luxury will become more the norm. If you don’t have to interact with the road, why have a driver oriented vehicle?

I’m really curious to see what these things will be selling for in 2020 or 2021, because this is exactly the vehicle I’m planning to get for my son, now 14, when he starts to drive. And like this seller, I’ll be taking the back seats out to disincentivize traveling with friends.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and make the assumption you’re straight, white, male, and you’re some kind of upper middle manager or retired.

It’s basically Honda’s trade name for torque vectoring. Essentially, it’ll send power to the exact wheel where it’s most beneficial, for instance, in a turn, it’ll send up to 100% of power to the outside rear wheel. There’s also an overspeed function that will allow powered wheel speed to differ from left to right and

Tesla Supercharger sites are leased by Tesla. They are not “public” parking spaces, so any vehicle parked there that doesn’t have permission to be there is parked illegally. Ipso facto, they can be towed, although it’s unclear who’d have the authority to initiate that towing other than a Tesla employee or contractor.

Second gen Acura RL. Big enough to be comfortable, small enough to be fun. Nice interiors and Honda reliability. And Sh-AWD is one of the best AWD implementations out there.

I’m sorry, but there’s only one correct answer to this question.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA...that’s lazy journalism, even by internet standards.

Cullinan Limited you mean?

So you’re saying Texas is America’s bullocks?

That might be my parents car. Color is right and it’s in Long Beach. 😂

I saw one on Tuesday. It was surprisingly obvious, even in suburbia and in grey.

Where’s y’all’s creativity?

The ones I’ve seen in Colorado recently have knackered paint and bleached trim. One that’s in my neighborhood has had plastic on the passenger rearmost window for more than a year, although I can’t say whether that’s a cost or availability driving that.

I clicked NP, but, truth is, I didn’t buy this car in the 80s and I’m probably not going to buy it now. I cross shopped the XR4Ti with the Saab 900 back in the day. I wound up getting a truck then, but would have bought the 900 if I hadn’t been bribed by my parents to get the truck. The Merkur was less comfortable,

I will say that there was a brief window where these were the budget car deal of the century. New ones were on lots well into 2011 and, used, they were giving them away. Sadly, most were the V6 versions, but V8s weren’t spendy, by any means. Now they’re cheap, but long in the tooth and not holding up terribly well.

They didn’t call the Tatra a Nazi killer for nothing.
