I got my very first speeding ticket at age 19 in Germany (oh so many years ago). Being pulled over wasn’t so bad. Being asked to pay on the spot (DM80) wasn’t so bad. Not speaking German wasn’t so bad.

Just for giggles, I’d like to see a 747 fully re-engined by these.

And as a marketing person, I tend to agree. This engine may be better than the V6 in every possible way. To Joe T. Moron of Sunset Falls, AL, it’s inferior to the V6 because the cylinder count is fewer.

Actually, the 1902 Runabout and Tonneau notwithstanding, it wasn’t until the mid 50s that Cadillac models had names (besides Fleetwood).

I’d be content just have to the high beam switch back on the floor. If you’re driving in the country, being able to keep your foot situated over the control would be ideal.

I’m not a huge Mopar guy, but the Walter P. Chrysler Museum was a pretty impressive facility. If you didn’t get a chance to see it, you really missed out on something.

Actually, the beauty of this era of Bentleys is that they are pretty reliable and dead simple to fix.

Not too far off what French underdogs Simca were doing around the same time (before they gave in and were purchased by PSA).

I shopped these when they were new. The transmission actively sucks, which is probably good, because the interior is so god awful that I’d probably have bought it and then hated myself if the transmission had been better.

This is very close to what I envision for my 4th (and as yet unpurchased) FSJ.

Fleet people also swear by them because they have a shit-ton of locations which is pretty bloody important if you’re managing a geographically distributed fleet.

Here’s my issue. Even if the vehicle was lawfully seized and the frame/bodyshell legally destroyed, there’s thousands of £/$/€ worth of parts on there, being destroyed unnecessarily.

Please. Everyone knows a spare ought to be placed within enclosed bodywork, amidship.

Gargleheinz makes the correct point. This is no different that making a monetized YouTube video about vehicle restoration using a salvaged Jurassic Park M-Class.

Actually, the case law is pretty clear on this. Trademark and copyright certainly exist here and both are Dominos’. That said, the larger issues are two-fold.

Price. Local dealer was lousy with 2017s at the end of the year. I saved close to $20k off sticker for a truck that had all the features I wanted. Plus it came with a 5 year transferable warranty and 2 years free maintenance. I liked the Chevy better, but it was significantly more dollars for a truck that I like only

Well damn it. I just found a new motor for my Wagoneer project.

Looking at this, I have to say that it appears to be a significantly better cabin, both visually and functionally, than my 2017 Nissan Titan. Perhaps I’ll need to have a look at the 2020 model when I’m shopping again.*

And at the opposite extreme...
