As a smart owner I love this comment. The entire car doesn't take itself seriously, and that's what's fun about it. No, it's not going to outrun anything faster than a truck. No, it won't kill a Prius in fuel economy either. But driving one is such a giggle.

I also see where you're going. Although if you're gonna go that way on this car, then I don't see how the headlight lashes are stupid. They could also be called fun and quirky.

I see where you are going, but there is a very very thick line between "Fun, cute, non-serious" and "Absolutely ridiculous and downright childish" and this does a pole-vault over that line.

The New Beetle (The one that came out in '99) is more along the lines of fun, but this is just making a mockery of the person

You left out the best converted school bus accessory, the roof top deck.

I've see one parked in my town painted NY Giants colors that I'm guessing is used for tailgating. I also used to see a lot of old school buses used at Rutgers for tailgating, especially back when people just showed up to tailgate and didn't bother going in the stadium for the game.

If it's good enough for Uncle Rico it's good enough for me.

Yes, this was actually at Redhill and Barranca pkwy in Tustin/Irvine.

exactly what I said as soon as I saw the street sign.

Thanks! With the NG93 I was given the homework assignment to retell the Saab story in one car. Ownership really wanted a car that was philosophically Saab - aero driven, functional, a bit odd and quirky. We decided to tap into the nose cone aero themes of the really early cars - the UR saab and the 92, whcih

I'm actually quite liking this series of videos from you guys. I know it's marketing and there will be always be cynical people, but viewed on its own they're actually quite interesting and entertaining to me.

OK, you know what I don't get here?

I'll be sure to Ray. I was initially leaning towards the FR-S and Focus ST but started thinking I wanted something more mature and when I sat in a Fusion I fell in love with it. Being young, I still need to save up a bit more for a down payment but I'm thinking later this year or early next year.

Is it weird that I'm sort of jealous that Melina got to be in a trunk with Rutledge Wood?

You should seriously go drive one.

You need to keep in mind that it is a mainstream midzise sedan competing against Accords and Camry's, and these cars are made of compromises. One of my neighbor have one, probably a base model. It's far from exciting but better than the two above-mentioned cars.

You definitely start to see it as a term of endearment.

After much consideration, I've decided that Rutledge looks better in a trunk than Jason looks in a frunk.

When you're here, you're "one of the guys"
