I was only half-assedly reading at that point, but her mix-and-match thing that she had going on was my favorite thing about that period.

Oh that is gorgeous.

Winning by Sexual Assault: The Rogue Story*

You and I have very different definitions of “endearing.” ;p

I’m way more down for this than the fucking Mist.

So I went to the link for the Handmaid’s Tale posters, and that website is fucking awful.

Or for the whole thing about how John Connor was conceived. That tiny little detail in the Terminator story.

That’s a really good point. YES to Tatiana in all the things!

Or natively speaks Hebrew or another right-to-left language.

Real talk: I completely and utterly adore Cosima (Orphan Black). (I know she’s a lesbian and as such would never be a viable prospect for me. That’s okay; unattainable crushes are kind of my leitmotif.) But I don’t really have the same reaction to any of the other clones; closest it comes is Sarah.

I really, really, really wanted to like that show. :( I love most of the talent involved. I love the basic concept. But yeah, everyone had to be an asshole. No bueno.

Ya know... it’s not as funny as it used to be when someone purposely acts obtuse.

Haha I know, but it was still kind of a good question!

That’s a very good point, and yes they absolutely need to change their model – but I still don’t think proprietary streaming setups are the solution. People don’t currently buy access to individual channels (they should be able to, but that’s another debate)! They buy bundles. If the networks had been nimble, they’d

I genuinely don’t get why these corporations think that a million online subscription services are a good idea. Like how are they missing the point that a huge part of the draw for Netflix and Hulu is they have tons of material all under one subscription (each)?

Personally, I hope they LOWER the ante after Infournity Wour. Just lay off the Big Avengers Team Ups and continue with the trend we’re beginning to see of the main interconnection being cameos/shared billing – if indeed anything at all.

You mean Fant4stic.

Ah gad I hated that spate of “THE UNTOLD TRUE STORY” bullshit that bedeviled us in the aughts. Fuck you, pitchmen and tagline writers. No one gives a shit about your “gritty realism” in a story where one of the main character is gorram Merlin the magician.

Hmmmmmmmm. It would be tidy. It would also make anyone who gives a shit about Adam Warlock lose their fucking minds. I dunno, I guess it could work, but it seems like it’d be a risky move.

No. This is a terrible idea, and not just for the reasons Alliterator points out. That level of connection would shrink the universe and limit storytelling potential.
