I liked Simpsons well enough. Delightfully silly and grotesque. Pretty much everything you want out of Treehouse. The bit where Bart is too dumb to get powers cracked me up but also made me a little sad. Sideshow’s line to the tune of “20-odd years of trying to kill a 10-year-old boy have finally paid off” was

Last night I went to get dinner in Los Feliz, which was surprisingly busy on a Sunday night. Every place was utterly slammed, with lines, even. Except one place, a fairly well appointed sports bar on the south end of the trendy area. They had a decent menu but hardly anyone in the dining area. And they had some TVs

Burneko’s argument was well-written and logical (which is not to say I’m in full agreement), but Magary’s is hilarious. It’s hard to pick a clear winner in this debate.

“But I can read my mind...”

Meyer has always been all about the onanism though, hasn’t she?

I haven’t got an encyclopedic memory of BCO, but that story stood out and made me want to subscribe to his newsletter on the strength of the writing alone.

Every one of these contributors is my fucking hero today.

Well...one time I found pubes in my quesadilla. A bit too late, I might add.

I’m not a Korra literally anything — have not watched, read, heard, etc. anything about it — but that is objectively beautiful and brilliant.

I bet that lady totally fell for the left-handed burger prank, too.

A couple weeks ago I was enjoying brunch at my favorite hangover cafe. This two-year-old started losing his everloving mind at their (outdoor) table. This kid had some fucking pipes!

I get the feeling that Tara Heinzel probably has a ton of CHOW stories, and she should probably tell them to us.

Your statement is a logical fallacy. The bad reputation of one car-type driver does not affect the bad reputations of other car-type drivers, and I made no claims that BMWs were the ne plus ultra of bad driving.

Oh, definitely. The bad habits are in no way limited to drivers of BMWs. However — maybe it’s the “Blue Car Effect” — but in my experience, when I get cut off, near-sideswiped while on my bicycle, see a car run a stop sign or light, see a lack of signal use, or truly atrocious parking, it seems to be a BMW driver at

If you’re in Los Angeles, you’re a fucking unicorn. A beautiful, amazing unicorn.

You beat me to it. That was going to be my EXACT comment.

You apparently do not. I, on the other hand, am quite happy to watch and re-watch almost everything that has come out and the same proportion of what will. This is my Valhalla.

That last was my biggest disappointment. :(

I ascribed this to Thor, not Scarlet Witch. She’s not setting up those dreams beyond “now you will face your greatest fear” — Thor’s would be Ragnarok. But more to the point, Thor isn’t human and maybe Asgardians have traits that make this make sense.

You say that like there’s something wrong with this. ;p
