I read a short story that was probably the precursor to these books (or book if you prefer) and I think it was even called "Blackout". Went into this whole thing about saving St. Paul's cathedral. Was a beautifully written short, and it really stayed with me in ways none of the other stuff I've read of hers has. I

I so love the meta episodes of Supernatural. I don't know what other show could pull that shit off (and the description you give definitely ups the ante) and they do it so well.

Great article! I really liked the concept of preon stars. I mean, shit, makes sense to me - but I didn't know there was a problem with the concept. Now I have to bone up on that so I don't run into major science fails down the road.

Well, I'm gonna watch that film.

It's actually starting to do damage. Fast food joints are terrible positioning for this kind of movie.
