@WookieLifeDay: Kind of, yeah. In that the theme is pretty pervasive ("everyone loves an underdog"); it would be kinda nice to see some variety as well.

Damn it. Now I want to watch those movies again (and see the ones I haven't). Particularly Empire Records.

It's a nice stunt, but how the hell would she actually collect? You'd have to get governments all over the world to hop aboard the crazy train, and since the money is going to Spain, I'm pretty sure none but the Spanish government would be interested.

This is entirely fascinating; one certainly wonders at the future applications (I immediately thought of the Edenists in Peter F. Hamilton's Naked God trilogy), as well as how might this relate to existing biosystems (bodies).
