If it were on a Saturday, I'd totally consider getting in on this. I've been wanting to head up that way for a while now, anyhow.

@spikespeigel: What would be great for dramatic purposes would be if Peter chooses Fauxlivia over Ourlivia. Oh man, that would be fucked up. Five bucks says it happens.

@m_faustus: You know what? I did not have the right definition for "smug". Thanks for inspiring me to look it up — that is absolutely the right word. They're not ALWAYS smug, and the overarching message of tolerance and empathy is a good one, but yeah. Sometimes I sorta have to wince. Because there's a difference…
I less-than-three you for including Callahan's Key. I love those books. Even though on occasion the writer gets a little too fond of his own cleverness (a problem I can certainly relate to but still find mildly annoying).
@FlirtySanchez: I'd watch that movie.
@DasStan: Eh.
I agree with everyone's reactions to the Superman news.
@mipakr: Go see Megamind.
@DasStan: I second this. Or probably more than second, but yeah.
@Sardonicus: Agreed, and I hope I'm not the only one who thinks this is dangerous and stupid.
@Romple: LMFAO. Well played!
@soulfinger: Yeah, that's certainly possible. I'm not exactly on my A-game today. *yawns*
@soulfinger: I don't buy "genetic" for homosexuality either. Because if that were so... well, I'm not in the mood to get into it right now. Suffice it to say, I find that theory very shaky.
My sister is ALREADY a vicious attack animal.
Psychiatrists and psychologists have been doing this for years. They call coffee-drinking a disorder, for crying out loud. Have you SEEN their Diagnostic and Statistical Manual? They've made a "disorder" out of pretty much every normal human activity. Because that way, see, they can make more money.

@sollipse: Yeah a lot of people like to say that, but I don't think that's actually how it is. From what I've seen and heard, it's more along the lines of "too many cooks in the kitchen" and studio execs who are nervous about recouping their investment. That group of 10 you mention are the ones who garnered enough…
I don't understand why they feel the need to reboot everything. Especially properties relatively young that have aged well.
