So yeah, having read the article: Totally picking this one up.

I haven't even read the article. All I needed to see was the cover and instant WANT!

@Gimmi Mørgäikkönën: I like her more in this picture than any other image I have ever seen her in. I don't know why. I just do.

@33rd°: BA HA HA HA HA HA HA

No offense, but if those had been the real opening credits, there is not a chance in hell I would've watched the show. But that's largely because I'm not a fan of 80s opening credits.

@mordicai: Yeah I didn't follow those books very closely, but I really like the idea of that character and the team-up. It's brains and brawn like Supes and Bats, except more irreverent and fun. And I likeirreverent and fun.

@Faustroll: +1. This is the PERFECT property for TV. I agree with Anansi: This needs to happen.

@MyNameisn'tEarl: Awww, no love for Freckles? Her part's not all that big; you could probably get through the movie okay.

This is new? I thought they were talking about doing stuff like this like 20 years ago, when they had that big scare at Jack-in-the-Box. That was huge news, we even heard about it in Canada, and we didn't even have JackinnaCrack back then. (Don't know if they even have 'em now - been stateside too long.)

@MyNameisn'tEarl: Actually she was in Hurt Locker. So it's not her first feature film.

@Mark 2000: Well, Mark - not that there's any evidence of it, but I'm inclined to believe that closer to the core, there's plenty going on to keep those guys busy. Lots of company and that.

@All_Thumbs: Hey yeah. They might pull a Futurama and come over here wanting to get the conclusion to Firefly or Heroes. Or, more likely, Manimal.

Ah, the Fermi Paradox. I love this one.

Charlie Jane, your little asides, one-liners and final bon mots always make my day. +1

@Seamus McClernan: Hey, groovy. I can't find any kind of write-up on it (admittedly my interest wasn't strong enough to get past the first page of Google). Would you mind Cliff's-Noting it for me? Or was it just the now-standard "solar battery" deal?

I can't believe I never saw that thing with the guy going off on Liefield before. I read that thing like two hours ago and I'm still snickering.
