It's weird how emotionally-invested these people got into the hype train for NMS. There have been many, many, many overhyped games throughout gaming history that ended up being shitty and not delivering on promises. But usually the fans are angry for like a week and life goes on. The angriest fans might decide to

Did you even read past the first sentence of what I wrote.

Unlike many other liberals, I don't believe Steve Bannon is a white nationalist or an Anti-semite.

How many fedoras do you own?

The saddest thing about political punditry is that it diverts very talented people away from doing real good works in their original area of expertise, in favor of just bloviating in front of a camera for the benefit of assholes with the same repugnant political beliefs as them.

Attention Democrats and Millenials:

"Minority" = any portion that is less than 50% of a whole. Women, by definition, cannot be a minority unless their share of the population drops below 50%. Words have actual meanings, and there are other ones to describe historically-marginalized groups.

There's an entire subgenre of porn dedicated to this.

Hugh Laurie's American accent is so good that the producers of House didn't realize he was British at first during casting.

Yeah that was a terrible choice. Even in the trailer he looked terrifying. Then they actual movie comes out and he's singing the Pinocchio song while flying a jet. Christ.

Yes, they literally did call the movie's MacGuffin "unobtanium", and I don't even think Cameron was attempting to be campy or ironic in doing this. In the story, unobtanium is some super-valuable natural resource that the evil mining corporation needs for (reasons) and was only found on the planet inhabited by the

Why do they release these movies so far in advance in Europe? I never understood the logic behind this.

Cameron: "My dream is for theater-goers to see a real 3D experience with real 3D actors in real time without the need for glasses or any other obstructive technology. Maybe we won't even need a traditional screen or projector, but something entirely different to bring the show to life. Can you imagine it? It would be

Avatar was a fantastic tech demo of cutting edge 3D and CGI technology that contained some off the most jaw-dropping visuals I've ever seen onscreen.

No-glasses 3D does exist but it requires the viewer to view the screen from a fixed distance and angle (see: The Nintendo 3DS). I'm not sure how it would even be physically possible to achieve this effect for several hundred people simultaneously in a movie theater setting.

Ground buffalo isn't some exotic speciality meat, dude. It's sold at most regular grocery store chains (I buy it at Safeway) and it's generally only a couple bucks more per pound than ground turkey.

If you're trying to make a leaner chili, I strongly recommend using ground buffalo meat instead of ground turkey. They have almost identical levels of fat and saturated fat, but buffalo creates a much better flavor, especially in chili.

"Ale" does not = "IPA". Dark lagers tend to have roughly the same hoppiness as a regular brown or pale ale.

Chili was invented by Central American Indians and they tended to put corn in everything, being their staple crop and all.

Food that tastes better is generally more enjoyable.
