Angel. The only show I've seen whose finale was it's best episode.
I approve this message. It was extremely funny, and the ending was absolutely perfect.
The movie (which I've seen and fucking loved) isn't really about the end of the world, just about the end of human life in a sufficiently large portion of it to concern the characters. (Which is to say, the house they're in and the areas they could potentially flee to.)
I saw this in October at the Edmonton International Film Festival (no, it's not ALL three-year-old Italian movies!), and it was amazing. Funniest movie I've seen in a long, long time.
Well, not exactly (at least in the movie). Love cures the infection, and it's a slow(ish) process. The kiss is what finally spurred him to come back to life, but it was just the last step in a whole series of events.
Hey, Tasha, you forgot to mention that the film is really, really funny. Yes, it's silly, but as I left the theater, I didn't care. It amused me.
It's funny because all the characters on this show have extreme contempt for each other.

You never know. After all, on Cougar Town, Scrubs is both fictional and real.

Late to the party here, but Take This Waltz is criminally underrated. Just a fantastic film, and Michelle Williams is absolutely perfect in it.

It's the one of those that makes sense based on what TVDW actually said. Admittedly, there was no reason whatsoever for you to assume that a participant in this thread was making sense, and I should have realized that.

"Everyone who dislikes Girls is sexist!"

Maybe not the only example, depending on definitions, but almost certainly the highest ratio of film-success-to-show-failure.
