That’s very unlikely. The prosecution likely wanted more time to cross there ts and such to lessen the chance of a mistrial or hung jury (since I believe Idaho requires unanimous jury specifically on the death penalty).

I would say it's more concerning that they partnered with Rumble, a streaming service that runs and monetizes that kind of content than what the adds ran next to. It's an alt-right streaming platform that is obsessed with "free speech", so I assume they run ads next to any content on the site.
