I still don't know what to think of Watchdogs. My gut is telling me it's going to be one of the best new IP's to come out in recent years. But my brain is telling me that the story is going to suck! That's just how these things play out...

True, and it is nice to see how the game is suppose to play. Most likely alpha, but MAN! Look at the level of detail in just the city fly-by! I can see some copy-pasted building here and there, but the level of reflections and refractions as well as the simple animation is far up on the production levels!
No it's not important, but it is a trick to get people all enamored with this as a set level of visuals. It's too stiff, the movement pacing changes erratically with the ADS speed, the camera's focal point zips to wierd places like a magnet, and it seems like the person doing this is almost out of body in a hovering…
Guys...
Like I said, I really want to go and buy a PS3 but outside of the exclusives I don't have a reason to. And the exclusives I want, don't warrant the price. It's matter of money, time and dedication at this point in the console cycle that I just don't have any reason to switch over. I want to play those game because I…
More like a live-render. Possibly using the in-game engine, but no actual person played this. Essentially it's a tech demo for both visuals and to demonstrate the 'share' ability.
It's not actual gameplay footage. It may be in-game rendering, but that's not a person playing that. So it's fake, it's a simulation of what the game might play like.
(Here's an exerpt from one of my Brad Neely fantasy trips based on the pc crowd going bananas on something they said when the damn game was originally released...)
Been waiting for a really good reason to pick up a PS3 and never had one outside of MGS4 and Little Big Planet. Still isn't worth the price for only those titles and with my large 360 library, I never had a third party to run to as the defacto for the PS3.
Ladies and Gentlemen...
Unnanounced product with publicity for it coming from a retailer...
I don't think I even need to tell people that this is nothing but a publicity stunt to get attention...
I can't trust Playstation Lifestyle as a publication if the reviewer actively explains how bad something is by telling them to play it for themselves...
Yeah, that's a good point. But it still feels wrong; the 'buy-now' mentality they're pushing...
It's the fact that they are whoremongering for money right out the door. It was just announced! There's no release date, there's no gameplay footage, there's not really even much of it that's been publicly shown off. Granted it's Bungie and they've never let me down personally; but it might also be something that…
Yeah, already tried the Waffle and Chicken one...
It always comes down to who's side you're on, huh?
MEANWHILE!
No, but it's essentially them saying 'Oh we're ready to take your money, don't you think we won't!'
Yeah, that's what we need...
