@Archaotic: Now that I think about it... did the game ever end? I don't rememer a specific ending to it.

@Luke Plunkett: How about that terror site Toronto? I hear the aliens invaded after the winter Olympics!

@Archaotic: On the advanced levels, the game's mind control options made it more of a guessing game than a strategy game. Seriously, have you ever not seen one of the mind-controlled units not hit the building next to them with a grenade and kill themselves?

@Archaotic: I know, I've played them. I'm just waiting for the Alien mind control to kick in and to watch the grunts to start toasting each other with flamethrowers.

@Archaotic: Love how the character and weapons mockup sheet makes him look like a Nazi from Wolfenstein. And a flamethrower? Hew Boy! I can see that being completely useless against alien laser weaponry!

@Nihilexistentialist: I only know of 3 FPS games where you can see your feet when you look down and those don't count becuase they aren't interactive. Halo, Breakdown, and Condemned. Really, I want a FPS where you can see your chest and torso. Even better, one where you can shoot yourself in the foot!

@Archaotic: Definitely going to pickup Crackdown 2. Playing from a third person view with a visible body is much better than looking at a gun and my hands. Also, I didn't mean to bring preference into the conversation. I just like westerns. It really kinda hard to 'Dudebro' a western game and thats kinda why the genre

@Archaotic: Personally I love the westerns, always so full of life and colorful language. Nothing wrong with sci-fi either as Mass Effect can attest to. Maybe sometime we can play each other online or something. I've already tried adding you to my friends list on LIVE.

@Archaotic: Yeah, also someone at the studio had a fascination with trains and physics and was paid to pursue his passion with great freedom. If that was padding, I'd like to see what real work looks like!

@Archaotic: The over saturation of FPS on the market is horrendous, but at the same time, the quality of other genres has been in a STEEP decline. Is there a correlation? Probaly.

@Archaotic: Exactly why I didn't pick up the game after sampling the demo. I really liked the older iterations alot better because of the slow methodical approach one had to take with everything. It wasn't perfect, and could be damn hard not to get caught, but the room for growth and improvement was always present in

@Archaotic: If it makes you feel any better, I didn't.

@vorpal_raddish: I'd say that's because all the actually good material has been used up and now it's more about good actors and direction then story. At this point in most people lives, we have seen just about everything from every genre. Hollywood is rehashing stuff so much because their studio staffs are exhausted

@BallPtPenTheif: Okay, I'll answer back to you, DragonBall Z. I win.

@BallPtPenTheif: Problem with remakes, and it's the kicker, is most people want them to be good and to be homages to the original, not just some quick cash crop rehash which is what most people believe this will turn into. There's no problem with a remaking or re-imagining of an IP, as long as it's good and more

I'd like to say headshot, but it looks like this man ironically cheated death. No pun intended!

@geiko: It's a legitimate strategy!

@plasticmouse: The board reviewed the 'Awesomeness' of the 'Beheaded trophy man' of recent screenshots and determined that said material was, in a way, 'Too ****ing awesome' to be denied to the target audience. I.E.-Anyone who has ever liked anything ever. Ever.

@koldkalamity: Having actually read the source notes and read-me files associated with this stuff, it looks as though these were things that were either scrapped, incomplete or still being worked on when the game went gold. Looking closer though, they did leave notes like 'Fix after Launch' and 'Add to Playlist Set'
