While I applaud the article - I chuck everything on my steam/amazon wishlists and generally wait for a steep sale to buy it, or get a humble bundle or some other alternative to full price... I do question the idea that gaming is expensive compared to other hobbies. They’re probably the least expensive hobby of the

I’d never do it to mine (nor do I have the expertise) but I absolutely love that this exists.

Really glad to see this. When the second (third if you count the Japan only model) Prius hit the US and people were really talking about the huge jump in fuel economy while still using regular gas, it was obvious that high mileage non-consumer vehicles really should go hybrid. Delivery trucks and taxis did because

Cars need to be able to be sold using a direct model, like Tesla, legal via the internet. It will save people huge amounts of money. And people who want to use a dealer can go use a dealer. Carmax would still exist, as would dealers - but they’d be different and be far more motivated to stop abusing people as a normal

Eh. I’d err on the side of caution as well but it’s probably not as bad as you think.

There are some truly professional grade voice acted mods for Skyrim.  My game is fairly heavily modded and once in a while I find something badly done - and sometimes it was not from a mod... but on a couple of occasions I went out and looked up the character because I didn’t recall him from the first vanilla play

5.5 years, 67K Miles, yet to have a single issue. The work I do is Fluid Film, oil changes or small mods.

I have a pair. They were good exercise for my wallet. Not so much for me, though they really do work well. Only negative is that they’re large, even with a lot of the weights removed. My girlfriend is petite and cannot do curls with them very easily.

Don’t know if they stock them any more as the automotive section is smaller, but Home Depot is where I got mine. I bought one in the store and one online once I decided I liked it.

Some people don’t trust ramps and I’ve never understood why. They seem more stable than jack stands in terms of contact points - as long as it can’t roll off of them.

Made me cringe reading it.

They’re good but slow to jack up.  Glad I’ve go them but also glad I don’t always have to do the lifting with them.

The low profile jack is for the S2000 or Audi, though it will raise the Jeep’s tires up enough for brake or rotations if I put it on the differential... which I don’t like doing even though everything I’ve seen says it’s fine. I almost never need to jack it up since it’s got enough clearance that I can get under it on

I work on my own cars and am pretty uncomfortable about being crushed.

A+++ Will watch movie.

FILET-O-FIST had me laughing until coworkers complained.

Actually - any car for sale which includes ultra-lazy photos is a red flag for me. I’m sure I’ve skipped some good deals, but if the person can’t be bothered to spend an extra five minutes going to a park, an interesting building or a large empty area then I’d wonder what other maintenance related things did they not

Give us a couple of years, we’ll “Catch up”
