Thankfully they are all okay especially the baby! That had to be scary.

Wish everyone who wasn't Syrian would get or stay the fuck out of Syria. The highjacking of that nation's land and internal conflict is shameful.

No, Facebook fed me the article and I clicked based on the headline because if there was a question to authorship, how the book or manuscript was created, or good evidence of other foul play, I wanted to know about it. But I found a blown-up feed to an old Gawker article hating on Lee's current attorney out of what

It's laying out a reason to tsk tsk the release based on a few tweets and Gawker's own reporting from their GOSSIP site. The eds' so-called feminist perspective can gloss over Dunham touching her sister and celebrate it as narrative right, but don't think an older person can decide to release a work near the end of

Bu.... but... but but but, doesn't EVERYBODY wuv Alexander Pope? (heart breaks)

That was my thought - maybe it's meant to be of Alexander Pope's noted rendition, though does look a late for that...

They're concern trolling based on their own network's reporting; if the work was not published now, it likely would have been released at some point after her death. These controversies aren't uncommon, see "The Original of Laura."

By the by, this conflict has resulted in what the UN calls "the biggest humanitarian emergency of our era." Last fall they got a whooping 30% of the donor funds needed to FEED people!

Celebrate Dunham's inane memoir, bemoan a sequel to the most-recommended and one of the most beloved novels ever. You guys really put griping ahead of the potentially sublime, don't you?

The words "you can't do that" still mostly apply to that thing on his head.

Is she wearing violet evening gloves without looking like a crazy person or an adult who tripped into the dress-up chest? Yes. Yes, she is.

This comment is the best thing I've read on the internet in at least a year. Thank you.

My political interests are also narrow and personal; being Syrian-American however, what ISIS does falls into that narrow scope of concern. You know since they're killing Syrians.

I don't a ton about gamergate, but whoever's tweeting under Anonymous sounds a hell of a lot like those people in the above tweets.

Especially living in a cold-weather climate with no car - totally eliminates that awful and often sub-zero trek to the gym! :)

Years ago I took one month' s equivalent of my fancy gym membership, bought a used spin bike on Craigslist, and parked it next to my bed. Takes up almost no room in my apartment, I can roll out of bed, take half a step, and be on it in my pajamas, prior to showering, and burn 700-1000 calories an hour. Recommended.

What baby's really thinking is, "she's there... AND there!"

I do tend to think that any crime committed prior to age 18 shouldn't be part of a person's criminal record. But all the reasons I think this is important (i.e. - hampers people from creating a stable footing as an adult for actions committed prior to their brain stem hardening) don't really apply to Mark Wahlberg at

GAWD can we stop with the "horny/vulgar shit dudes said on social dating sites" pieces on Jez? As though that's news or interesting or outside of what's available for any random person to experience immediately, right now? Or for that matter, as though it's anything we haven't heard Jez digest a BILLION times over?

Me and a certain lover used to call it a punani. P.S. just got out of another day of training for child sexual abuse interview protocol and was hoping to unwind a bit. Thanks for ruining that, spent all day already hearing about the need to inure myself to words like "cuck-hoo," "pee-pee," and five-year-olds
