I used to think the same until the pros told my gf that she needed to replace pads because they were on 10% left. Well I took a look at it and they didnt actually change anything. Just replace the shims which is what was making them squeak. They also forgot to bleed them which is what she initially went there for.

That's why I always ask for the measurement sheet before and then write what specks I want. First time I took my Z to the shop they came back with some bizarre setting (0 camber and rear slightly toe-out) and I had to argue to get them to put the factory spec.

I agree with you 100% but then I don't have any kids. I've lived in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Richmond and the only way to get a decent school is out in the suburbs. So I am sure for parents that is a big issue in why they live out there.

I've live in several large cities in the US an none of them allowed me to realistically take the bus to work. As an engineer my work sites are also in more remote areas so have to suck it up and drive.

Yes a lot if not most Americans have to commute much longer distances and have not Public transportation.

Also you cant deal with 35psi directly so you would have to let the tire go to ATP and then only have a couple of breaths.
