Thank you. I just try to take it one frozen monkey/7of9 head/Doreen mouth rat at a time.

Looks like Fancy is being Red-17’ed into a Level 6 now? I’m sure we’ll see the RAC’s designated A-Hole again soon after S2 starts. At least I hope so.

“Both shows had a lot going for them, but do they deserve another season?”

The second season benefits from binge-watching. Watched once a week, it definitely wasn’t nearly as strong as the other seasons, but taken a few episodes at a time it flowed better.

We were on Maui for the last couple weeks, and while the first hurricane slid around west before hooking back above Kauai, it seemed to mess up the weather (and water clarity/snorkeling in Kihei) to the point where the heat index was bouncing around 110 degrees, and there were days with no clouds at all over either

Outstanding! Nice to start the day with some good news for once.

[Homer] MMMMMMmmmm ... Bologna Stone [/Homer]

But with fewer helium farts and more Charlotte’s Web.

The lights are still dim on the ship, but I’m enjoying the show.

Instead we get the black spot of Westerly gobbling up low orbit trash... Huh...wonder if we could get one of those for our space trash problem here on Earth?

(There are a lot of daddy issues in this film, too. Which, you know, is a welcome change from all the daddy issues we’ve been having lately in pop culture.)

Agreed. I don’t have a problem rating any of the other moments as “cringe-worthy,” but the Abe/Red duet was funny.

La ... La lalala La La, La La lala La...

First they tried crushing them into powder without adding any flavor. This was not a success. Because the bugs are omnivorous the smell of their organs was simply too pungent.

Making fun of how people look and dress never goes out of style, though.

Start now by playing the (Track Team/Jeremy Zuckerman) ATLA and TLOK soundtracks for them while they are in utero. :-)

When my wife and I went to see it (she’d read the books, but I hadn’t), I remember OOTP feeling rather jarring. I think I told my wife “it felt like the Cliff’s Notes version of a great movie.”

PotC:DMC holds up pretty well under heavy repeat viewing (it was my son’s favorite movie for a while when it came out on blu-ray, so I’ve seen it way more than most folks). There are a lot of enjoyable things in that movie, especially some of the chase/fight scenes. I even enjoyed the writers’ commentary track.

I was gonna say, now Aang and Toph don’t seem like such bad parents, either.

Okay, I was not expecting that to work as well as it did. Just ... Wow.
