We’ve got one of each of the plates, so far, with mugs on the way.
“Katharine: The Avatar/Korra people were GREAT at this!”
Aaaand new wallpaper for the ol’ desktop.
What’s it doing there?
And the Company’s promotions for mulitgenerational service and sideways land grabs/reform keep the rabble fighting each other (or complying against their better judgment), rather than focusing on the fact that all of them are being manipulated.
“Now I want to know if there’s dust BEHIND the books. It’s not that I have an obsessive need to keep things clean and orderly. I’m just CURIOUS.”
This Map’s Red and Blue Regions Each Contain 5% of the World Population
“As director of the first two Harry Potter films, Chris Columbus helped create everything people love about the iconic franchise.”
Endless megaphone-assisted chanting (with matching placards) for hours as they marched around the Gaslamp: Who is Karellen? At What Cost? etc. No hint of what it was about, unless you googled “Karellen.” I would have lost my voice in the first hour. Add the Sharknado posse, the usual preachers and the Damien marchers…
I am never going to be able to watch this show without thinking of the marchers at Comic Con. If you were in the Gaslamp, you know what I’m talking about. We saw/heard them for hours because we were stuck next to the Omni in the GoT experience line...
Agreed. I can’t recall the last time Skiffy had three (consecutive!) shows in one night that I was interested in watching. I was ready to write them off a few years ago. Hopefully they can keep it up.
I’ve taken it for cholesterol-lowering, the flush isn’t that bad, although it’s a bit annoying when it makes the backs of your eyeballs itch.
D’Argo spoke for all of us: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
My favorite undead experience this Comic Con was eating dinner with my wife and kids at/in front of Común near Petco Park, where half a dozen or so fully-costumed corpses were sitting on sofas and enjoying happy hour a few tables down from us.
Not too bad of an episode. That flamethrower sucked, though. Wasn’t much more than a heavy blowtorch.
At Dragon Con, do you complain that there aren’t enough panels about dragons?
El Cajon is a lot hotter than the coast. The marine layer doesn’t make it in that far. It was cool and misting/drizzling downtown this morning and not hot this afternoon (I could see the Convention Center from my office if I wasn’t on the other side of the building).
We have 4-day passes (no preview night). I need Hermione’s time-thingy to be able to see all the stuff Comic-Con crammed into Friday. We’ll be lucky to see a quarter of it.
I am SO looking forward to this. I took my son to the premier/panel they did for Prelude during (but not at) last year’s Comic Con and it was a lot of fun. Bring it!
