I'm one of the few people that actually liked the exterior of the Ford Flex; this design is in the same ballpark (Flex/Navigator) to my eye, so I'm ok with it...
Indeed
Still, I found my tester to be curiously devoid of toys for its price. While this is a Volvo, a company whose reputation is built on the principle of safety, there was no backup camera or fancy safety systems like adaptive cruise control or emergency auto braking, besides one system that only works at low speeds. What…
When we talk about the interior, we really need to talk about the seats; they are the pinnacle of human achievement. Not the Internet, not spaceflight, the V60's seats. They are cushy and soft and perfectly bolstered. When you sit in them, your troubles melt away.
Nah. Florida is permanently damned. Fark has tag specifically for them and their brand of idiocy. Not a day goes by without seeing it once, at a minimum. (Fark Fully Flags Florida Fuckwitery)
There were two alternate intro screens for the GameCube: one was accessed by holding the Z button on the controller, and the other by plugging in three other controllers and holding the Z button on all of them.
Quite. Especially if you're looking for a truck or popular, fun-to-drive/hoon vehicle like a Subaru WRX (STI). Regardless of whether it was modified (and returned to "stock") or not, you're always going to wonder how much abuse the vehicle received under the PO.
The prices were changed in the last patch; I was told one reason was due to complaints that people had to make 2 trips to spend all (500?) their shards....which is a big steaming pile of boo-hoo BS. Blizzard upped the item shard costs x5, rejiggered the RNG to give a better chance of good loot, and tweaked the veiled…
After just a few minutes of searching, I've found a large number of cars that prove once and for all that this 100,000-mile thing is a myth, including this 2002 Toyota 4Runner with 414,538 miles, this 1998 Mazda Protégé with 278,579 miles, this 2002 Nissan Frontier with 350,721 miles, this 2002 Honda Insight with…
What do you think about the growth of the Chinese auto market? How soon till we see Chinese cars here?
"In the most simple terms possible, oversteer in when the front wheels slip while cornering and oversteer is when the rear wheels slip while cornering."
So long as these long trips aren't through the mountains (PA Turnpike, I'm looking at you,) sure! Just had a family trip down to VA Beach and drove my mom's Chevy Express. Very vague/floaty steering and 12mpg aside, it wasn't as bad as the trip 2 years prior in dad's Chrysler T&C.
A father & son that frequent local events have brought a number of modified curiosities over the years, including a bagged F150 and a Ranger that ran on propane. Once or twice, the club prez's dad did a few recon runs in his Touareg.
Additionally:
Indeed. Also, just being in possession of something unusual doesn't necessarily mean people will stop to talk. I had a Ranger in "Calypso Green" and now a S60 in Rebel Blue—normal cars with unusual colors in the local seas of conservative conformity. I've had exactly one person say something to me about my choice…
Now, I suspect a few people will reply here and agree that normal car free maintenance programs are pretty stupid, but luxury brands go above and beyond to make them worth it. BMW, for instance, is famous for offering the best program in the business: 4 years or 50,000 miles — and they cover brakes, which can be a bit…
...and not just neighborhood driveways, but our highways as well! Just this morning I saw one heading in the other direction while on my way to work...
Having just been there over the Labor Day weekend, very much so...
