Even last year’s WS run wasn’t enough to erase the hurt of that loss.

God, I hate caring about sports so much.

It wasn’t a hanger. It was a perfectly placed curveball on the inside corner. I’m still extremely bitter about that game and have only really seen the pitch once since then but it’s been seared in my brain. Beltran called it the best pitch he’d ever seen to that point. I wouldn’t disagree with him. It was complete

When Herman Franks managed the San Francisco Giants in the late 1960s, he would become exasperated whenever he tried to communicate with Japanese relief pitcher Masanori Murakami.

And yet it will make a ton of money and ensure that the least credible thing will happen: Zack Snyder will continue to make movies.

Praise Zeus for Deadpool. Timing could not be better for the “I am sick of super serious super hero movies” movie.

The Batmobile’s dope this time. He’s fine. It’s fine. Honestly, he’s the least of your problems.

“It’s after five, so downtown’s nearly empty right now...Except of course for service workers and homeless people, you know, the underclass that have zero value.”

I dunno. I find io9's actual reviews to be generally good and even-handed.

Yes, even my 10 yr old and I have joked in the past about “How many times do we need to see Batman’s parents whacked? Enough Already!” Knowing this alone will keep me away from this film.

Wait, are you implying that he couldn’t understand me when I yelled “SWING YOU MARVELOUS FUCK, SWING” at him in Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS? Well that explains a lot.

The ability to sense heat and cold is the greatest cause of destructive human behavior because if you forget the password for your bank’s mobile app, and anyway there was an oil spill and who cares about fucking Pluto in the first place? No wonder Lindsay Lohan hasn't made any movies in a long time. It's hot and cold

When all else fails, remember: Zack Snyder is, has been, and will be a hack director.

So... do they kiss?

This is probably the least surprising headline of the month.

It’s less a bench and more a wading pool. Very wide but quite shallow.

Exactly my thoughts. If they truly cared for her welfare they would have put on a brave face and smiled and told her that she’s going to live in a super cool place with fun people and that they will try to visit her as often as possible. Instead they chose to completely traumatize her with a media circus and

The Indian Country article seems to have the most info here with actual time frames—but basically, the foster parents have been fighting reunification from the moment that the father attempted to assert his custody rights. That, plus legal time equals years.

So they took in a foster child and decided they wanted to keep her, despite the fact that she was never put up for adoption. Despite the fact that she is now going to live with blood relatives who are already caring for one of her siblings, these people think they own her. Disgusting.

This isn’t their first custody battle over a foster child that wasn’t up for adoption int he first place.

hmmmmm removing my comment because these replies have really given me more info and ive changed my mind
