I’ll always want a window...not for any feeling of security or anything, I just like watching the scenery roll by.

I used to work in agriculture in California, and the big reason that dairies left the Chino area was that houses pay better than cows. They relocated to central valley locations.

Normally, that is what industry does here, they flee the state for someone that will let them do whatever. In this case, most of it just moved to less populated areas. My guess is that they wanted regional control still but did not want to have to run the risk of as many people coming after them for money.
