alternatively, my employer is extremely progressive and I dont want to punish them for something they are doing above and beyond. how would my participation help? was never a well thought out means of resistence.

I have an appointment later this week to talk to a specialist but I’m afraid they will dismiss my concerns because I don’t fit into the kind of eating disorder they are…

Yes, sorry, didn’t mean to disclude that one. It’s so sad because we all know the health effects but we moralize it — they deserve what they get because they are fat. We don’t see the addiction and need for treatment the way we should/do with other disorders.
