That’s what I don’t understand, if it’s an economic decision, show us the economics (in context, against what other economic decisions are). The fact that no one has made this case makes me feel like it doesn’t actually exist.

I’m wondering what it changes if it’s Corinne’s fault that she blacked out by being careless with her meds? She isn’t accusing Demario of taking advantage of her. It’s still what she says — an unfortunate situation for everyone involved.
The real aggressor in this situation who should be culpable to the media, the public, and maybe financially in court for ruining corinne and demario’s reputations is the producer who was not present for the situation, heard about it third hand, and then single-handedly shut production down by filing a complaint.
this literally looks like the worst remake in the history of the world.
I don’t care one percent about victimization in a chorus but i think it’s a bad song. This can’t be the only problem with it.
Imagine being accosted at an event by someone yelling at you like this while someone else films it. I can’t believe people want to be celebrities.
is there no editor on this site at all?
As a child of divorced parents who has a different last name from all my loved ones, it’s kind of a big deal but ok.
“TayTay exerts maniacal control over her image and brand”
I was pleasantly surprised by how diverse the group seemed to be!
idk i’m not a rapist (i’m a woman) but if a guy was telling people i raped him i’d be pretty upset. i can see why labels like this are scary (but again, unlike this lady I care about actually not being a rapist).
the complaint says the lady who called the mom racist/bully/etc is engaging in libel so i don’t think anyone (so far) is crying “free speech”
doesn’t seem like the complaint was about making her behavior public but about the one mom calling the other mom a racist/white supremacist.
i almost wonder if we would all do well to de-emphasize the word and start emphasizing the specific behaviors.
did you catch that vulture article on the twitter ya community?
money?
Well, I’m happy that this group is diverse at least. I assumed it’d be all rich white ladies complaining about their nanny speaking spanish :(
“while women focus on the pom pom part”
“So, if I (as a non-Mexican) studied Mexican cuisine deeply and started a Mexcan place in Maine, it’s not appropriation if I know what I’m talking about”
did we really have to have an image that features a white woman
