Ubisoft has kind of devolved into making the same game over and over again. After last year’s Odyssey, I think I’m just done with Ubisoft open world games, until they really, genuinely innovate and change the formula. I just don’t think I have it in mean to clear yet another overly large map of icons all over again.

I'd like to see a looter shooter but with a more traditional shooter feel. Unloading clips of ammunition has never been a thing I enjoyed... Though I can say that destiny 2 has somehow tricked me into enjoying it. 

I’m a tiny bit envious that you get to go in fresh. I’m not going to play Classic, since for me the game will never be what it was (new and full of unknown wonders), and I want my memories to remain nostalgia-tinted. I had my time in vanilla and it was mostly great. But I don’t wish for a return to those days.

Funny enough: I’m in the opposite shoes right now! I’m just starting FFIX myself for the first time. Got to level 5 this morning, and that’s after playing WoW and other MMOs for years.

I feel this. There are difficulty mods on PC, but that’s not the version I’m getting. Self-imposed rules are always nice, but so tempting to break. Okay as someone who is actually gay, it’s going to take a *lot* more than an shampoo bottle to offend me. This is remarkably silly stuff going on. The level geometry thing miiight be a bit much, but honestly I’ve seen much worse stuff embedded by the developers into old Nintendo games. Crass humor isn’t by itself…
