The first max Payne is *the* max payne. But the PS2 version is the worst version of a classic. Get the PC version or XBOX version if you can, the PS2 version has framerate issues.

I've owned at least 1, usually 3-4 consoles from every generation. I agree, this is my last console ever. Unless they do a 180 and bring back the abilty to own a game and not just rent one.

No rage, no fundamentalism. Just wanting a quality story. Batman Begins is without a doubt better than all other life action batman before it. But there have been dozens of hours of better animated stuff.

The loading will still be slow, it's EMU of PS2 hardware and Memory cards, so it's emulating the same slowness :(
