Honestly, that’s exactly where I thought they were going. The dialogue about Picard not liking to be the center of attention and all that seemed to imply that they were about to show him the U.S.S. Picard.

This sounds ridiculous! (Tentatively) Sign me up!
This looks utterly delightful so far, and I can’t wait for it!
I adore her and applaud her courage in speaking out on such a personally traumatic subject for her.
This looks really solid! I’m intrigued (and I haven’t really been able to say that about any DCU movie so far, even the few I liked)!
Nah, I much prefer the “Stan Lee was a Watcher” theory. :)
I’m still of the mind that Sony should have - at a bare minimum - reworked the PSVR1 exclusive games to be compatible with/upgradeable to PSVR2. There weren’t many, but they were excellent, especially Astrobot Rescue Mission and Blood & Truth. The fact that they are locked into the PSVR1 ecosystem is a damn shame and…
I saw the movie last night, and on a discounted movie night, I found it pretty enjoyable. I would actually not be mad if we got to see more with these characters, although I presume they’re all going to be wiped away by the Gunnverse and only trotted out for nostalgia purposes when that DC movie universe does its…
See? When I see stuff like this, it just kind of reinforces my thought that it’s ultimately the “studio meddling” mentioned multiple times in this article that’s the culprit for the declining quality.
The show hasn’t grabbed me the way that HIMYM did back in the day, but the characters are likeable enough, so it makes for good “background TV” if nothing else. Glad more people will get a chance to see it.
I’m late to the game, but I just watched it yesterday. For me personally, here are a couple of spoilery thoughts:
If it’s not Nick Offerman getting the award, I’d be perfectly happy with Murray Bartlett getting it instead. They both knocked it out of the park with this episode.
Yup, would 100% watch this... maybe not 10 hours worth, but I’d watch a 2-hour director’s cut of this episode.
*gleefully cackles in foreknowledge of what’s to come*
Please, do clarify specifically WHERE you’ve seen this scenario before the same old way.
Murray Bartlett should absolutely be nominated, too. He knocked it out of the part with Frank.
I’d have to agree with you there. I don’t know that I would have bothered playing it for a bit if it wasn’t included in Game Pass
I played a bit in the beginning and enjoyed it, even though I struggled to figure out the combos and rhythm of the game. I was hoping I could give it another shot after it had a chance to mature a bit, so it’s sad to see that it’s being shuttered so quickly.
For me, I’m not getting it (yet... I can see myself caving someday) is because of the lack of backwards compatibility. I still have stuff with the PSVR1 that I still enjoy playing with my PS5 - wonky PS3 external camera, obnoxious PS3 era wands or mandatory PS4 controller be damned.
Considering the number of times Lyft drivers start the clock on me before they arrive at my assigned pick-up spot, this is a potentially frustrating change.
