My husband and I have been doing gay cruises for the past seven years, and the experience is SO much better! No kids, lots of killer dances and parties, entertainment that doesn’t have to be restricted to be “family-friendly”, and quite frankly, the staff likes us more, because we’re generally there to let loose,

I finally got to watch the end of the season a few weeks ago. Team-Flash’s mourning as he entered the Speed Force “forever” didn’t make any sense to me. Iris, Joe, and Barry had JUST seen the future Crisis newspaper headline with the rechristened “Iris Allen-West” byline and a picture of Barry.

I’d put Ultimate Jessica Drew a little higher up on the list. She was a fantastic character, and like most of the Ultimate Spider-Man supporting cast, I was disappointed that she didn’t find a way to cross over into the main Marvel universe.

Boo! Benj Pasek and Justin Paul were so close to an EGOT for “Runnin’ Home To You” from the Flash/Supergirl musical episode. I’m really surprised it didn’t get a nomination.

Yeah, I was disappointed that Crazy Ex-Girlfriend didn’t a little more recognition. 100% agreed on “Math of Love Triangles” being a much better song, too.

Agreed. Symmetra hasn’t really been a support character for a while. She got refocused to be more defense than anything when they buffed her attack beam and took away her personal shields. She’s now one of my favorite characters, especially on defense maps (although attack Symmetra can be fun, too) :)

I was thinking the same thing. For mine, I’m guessing they just reattached his head, surgically attached his meat cleaver to his hand, and made him even meaner and more of an asshole than ever. I can’t wait!

I wish I knew. I’m a former Georgia resident, and I knew a number of people who switched their votes to Ossoff... so even though I knew it was still a longshot, I had a little bit of hope that maybe this would be the one special election that could make a difference. The “moral victories” start to lose their oomph

Yup. Same. I was thinking I’d had it figured out and that they would start to address how racism plays into Gilead society in back stories in the second season, but maybe not

Agreed. My husband and I were watching the show and thinking that “surely they’ll get around to this”, explaining that people of color have been all but exterminated except for those who are still able to conceive children. It seemed obvious since the only people who “own” handmaids and other house servants have been

Let me tell you. I HATE multiplayer games. I just want to play an adventure all by my monstrous self in my creep cave. BUT- I tried Overwatch a little bit after launch because I loved the shorts and characters so much, and guess what? It’s been almost all I’ve played for the past year.

In the Deadpool video game, he has different internal voices depending on what dialogue box pops up. It works really well!

I’m right there with you. Ultimate May, MJ, Gwen, Jessica were all top-notch! I especially loved the period where Aunt May’s house was the home for wayward heroes displaced by Ultimatum, so Bobby Drake, Johnny Storm, and Kitty Pryde all moved in.

Same, mystic headlock. This is pretty much the game we were promised by the developers in the Kickstarter, so I’m not mad about that at all.

Ooh, that’s a good guess. I hadn’t considered that one, but it would make sense since Cavanaugh has, so far, reinvented the role every season.

Agreed! I like Ian Gomez as an actor, but the character has brought nothing to the show. I suspect the writers hoped he would become a Lou Grant-ish character, a gruff but lovable foil to Kara, but he just came across as a jerk.

In a world with LexCorp, it works.

I both agree and disagree.

100% agree with this. The New 52 wasn’t a terrible idea, but the poor universe planning and coordination, rushed execution, and sloppy continuity (esp. with GL and Batman not really getting rebooted at all) just killed it almost from the beginning.

I’ve got friends in nearly every major US city because of LJ (and a fair number scattered around the world, too). My husband and I even met because of LJ. I haven’t really used it in years, but its impact on my life to this day has been immeasurable...
