Some of us a liberal fat fucks. No need to drag all fat fucks into the issue.

No, our health care system in this country is on the hook to take care of him and every other American who has a right to survive independent of what’s in their bank account.

Tig Notaro’s show, One Mississippi, had a great episode that mirrored CK’s behavior, and it is a must-see scene for people who are like “What he did wasn’t that bad. He didn’t TOUCH anyone.” Watch that scene. If you still feel it’s not that bad, all that means is that you’re a scumbag, too.

Don’t forget the tattletales and slut-shaming that made it even cringier.

Much like other commenters here, I am not sure why Offerman offering his thoughts on how Swanson would react during this outbreak received so much venom. The author says the question is “banal” and that’s it. Banality typically doesn’t require the warning “keep your mouths shut!”

She also kept reiterating that she doesn’t want her son “to change,” which is exactly like saying she doesn’t want him to grow, which seems like a strange way to parent your adult son.

Is there an underlying reality here that Barb is fearful of Madi’s “values”as an Evangelical- i.e. doesn’t want her son to marry someone who potentially isn’t pro-choice, doesn’t support gay marriage, etc- and chose to not politicize this show, purposefully keeping her negative feedback very vague? Or am I giving Barb

I don’t even remember how I got to the video the first time (probably here, honestly), but it’s one of my favorite pieces of absurdist comedy:

This is good to hear. I saw Natasha speak at the 92Y and she was fascinating and seems like good people in real life. I have no real take on Chloe except I can’t see her or hear her name without immediately thinking “to-ast”.

While I agree with her and Bernie on most issues, my love for Warren and ambivalence towards Bernie highlights that Warren’s supporters may not readily gravitate to Sanders.

Okay, I’ll say it: We all love Olivia Colman, some of us probably more than members of our own families, but what the hell is going on with that dress? The sleeves, I can’t get past the sleeves...

His attitude is what’s saving it.

I think it was a way of stating that they’re not going to be mooching off the British taxpayers, which is a common complaint from people who don’t care for the royal family.

I don’t know how this works for other people, but I’ve become very sensitive about this shit ever since I had a kid.

The very idea of art museums that are, generally, accessible to the public is a miracle. Think about the number of times you’ve gone to a museum and seen that a piece of art is on loan from a private collection. That means some individual OWNS that piece of art. That means that normally that art could be hanging in

Thiiiiis is me. I don’t want to pass on my shitty genetics (I am BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT but i also come with a basket of health issues). Since I’ve accepted being barren I can’t even imagine paying someone to have a child that might end up with the same shit I went through. When I’m ready, I will foster, and hopefully

I love Beyonce, but for this one thing, seriously, fuck Beyonce. Weighing 175 lbs isn’t “every woman’s nightmare”. I weigh more than that, and it’s certainly not a nightmare for me. It stings that she thinks it is. What *is* a nightmare is living in a world where women and girls are influenced by celebrities like

Oh, I love that Infocom game! The lengths you had to go through to get the Babel fish

Oh, Jesus Christ on a popsicle stick--I have sex with someone of the opposite gender and this is almost enough to make me switch for simply aesthetic reasons.  Oy.

I agree, but there are exceptions. And I actually really like this ring. Givenchy is a fantastic designer and this is great exposure for him so they might have gotten a massive discount in exchange for the free publicity. But I agree it’s very impractical as an engagement ring if your plan is to wear it every day. Or
