Worker and consumer rights are absolutely moral issues, largely because compensation for labor and the cost of goods (at least under capitalism) is fundamentally exploitative in execution. Usually, we roll with it and that’s fine. For instance, I don’t have a problem giving my guy at the bodega a buck for a soda even

Okay, some further editorial.

Loot crates have always been a moral issue that the industry (publishers, devs, journalists, influencers, and whoever else) has mostly ignore or dismissed and that’s incredibly screwed up. Even cosmetic focused crates, which don’t affect gameplay, use specific audio/visual cues and

My question. Will we actually have use for Thrawn at all this season or is he going to remain “random blue baddie”?

I think we were all expecting a new version of Chapter 13 that replaced the old one

While chapter 13 isn’t nearly as good as the rest of the game, it isn’t that bad. *Mild spoilers* You’re stripped of all the advantages you spent the game building and funneled into a game format that makes you feel frustrated, manipulated and powerless. It’s very much the point of the entire chapter. It goes on a

OK so it doesn’t replace Chapter 13 like (I think) we all expected it to. When playing the game, Chapter 13 is the same as before, just that Noct’s spells are a little faster, which I imagine will help some of the complaints (though I didn’t really have them). It’s just a different take that builds on the original.

This is clearly not going to mean anything to you but... you know it costs money to add stuff to a game right? Like, after you consider paying devs and marketing, it literally costs money to release a patch. There’s a fee.

Barthandelus has our interests at heart.

I loved chapter 13, so I’m glad to see this “replacement” is only optional.

Ohhh, so THATS why they were so “generous” with the extra content, its a trailer for their DLC.

Can we please stop paying attention to this guy now? He literally lied to you and manipulated the gaming media for a week for his own benefit. You don’t have to write about him or his moronic band of followers ever again. Just ignore him.

So does this mean all the new Layton games are going to come to IOS and Android too now?And have released anything new other than Layton Brothers on smartphones?

Can I please get a sequel to Mystery Room?

Professor Ladyton.

I wish everyone was like you on the Internet, Chris, You seem normal and fair. You don’t hurl insults.

Value is subjective. You and I will look at a brand-new Ferrari and probably think that it’s more car than I could ever justify and afford in my lifetime. Some oil-rich Sheik in Dubai will buy three because it’s Tuesday. His feeling ripped up by his purchase is no less valid then you being satisfied.

Can I breed and race you?

Exactly. Numbered FF has always and forever will be about evolving the franchise, building new worlds and trying new gaming systems. Spin-offs and (now) dedicated nostalgia series are there for the rest.

They seem to be doing that with Setsuna and the Bravely series.

I think at this point Sqauare Enix should start making two separate genres of Final Fantasies. One with turn based combat and pre-FFIX graphics for consoles plus mobile for nostalgia folk and one with high end graphics, realism and real-time combat like FF XV for mainstream people. This way they would keep their long
